Have you ever met an S7edge user that doesn't have a cracked screen? My point exactly. The S10e is a smaller phone but has more screen real estate. The 19:9 form factor is awesome for viewing web pages as more text fits on the screen. That is a huge win. The selfie camera hole isn't annoying, even when watching videos. s10e Specs that are important to me. Faster and higher specs than the s7edge in every way, Wide angle lens, 4K at 60fps, amazing speakers, better call quality and reception, wifi calling works properly, more intelligent switching between wifi and 4g, DARK MODE!!!!! Bixby is useful, the automation functions allow you to save battery (especially overnight) and eliminate all those annoying manual tasks associate with using a phone. The s10e is the phone that finally convinced me to make the switch. I've enjoyed my time with the s7edge however it was an impulse buy and I wish I had brought a non edge model. The s10e isn't an impulse buy, I've spent months researching it and I can honestly say it's the best phone for me. If you can relate to this review, chances are it's the best phone for you too.
To anyone contemplating buying this phone in 2020... Just got one. After a whole lot of looking it up. Couldn't take the plunge because I couldn't let go the performance of my Razer Phone 2 but I got tired of lugging that brick around. Anyway it's a fantastic phone. You won't regret it. Performance is top notch and best of all it's in a small form factor easily manageable.
Just returned my 3a after using for one day. Great camera, has an audio jack, amazing speakers, but lacks way too much in other areas. Also image processing takes a few seconds to load. (I.e. take a photo, go straight to gallery, it has terrible resolution and then loads up to 5 seconds later.) Also I didn't like a lot about the UI.
I've been using my beautiful white Samsung Galaxy S10e for three years now, and dread the day I'll have to upgrade it. It's still buttery smooth and the way it fits in the hand is better than any phone I've ever used-and most definitely better than the current crop of flagships. I hadn't reset my phone in over 2.5 years and it had become slow as molasses, so I briefly considered upgrading to the S22. I went to the store and tried it out, but it felt like a significant downgrade from the S10e. It's not just the fact that it's larger but the chunkier squared off sides made it much less comfortable to hold and use than my phone. I came home and reset my phone that night and restored it from backups. I lost no data and it became as fast and smooth as new. It's been one month since then and I'm so glad I didn't pull the trigger on the S22. I've dropped it innumerable times, in every manner and on every surface conceivable, but it's withstood everything beautifully. I've had to get the rear glass replaced a couple of times, the front glass once, and the camera glass cover once-all of which cost me peanuts compared to what it does on the newer devices. I've never put a case on it, before or after the shatters, and it wears the dings and scratches with pride. It's a solid, well built and well used phone. I sometimes wonder whether the people at Samsung who designed these phones realise what an absolute gem this phone is. Don't they use it alongside the newer devices and realise that we're going back in terms of quality? If Samsung ever released this exact same physical device with upgraded internal components, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat! It's the best goddamn phone ever made.
I agree. I'm using s10 e for 2 yrs now and its just perfect. Best phone i ever held in my hand ( equal to samsung s8) and it is super smooth in performance

I have an S7 edge as well. Did you have battery problems with the S10e? People say it's the only problem with that Galaxy.

Just returned my 3a after using for one day. Great camera, has an audio jack, amazing speakers, but lacks way too much in other areas. Also image processing takes a few seconds to load. The "e" on the Tab S5e officially stands for "essential" and I'm pretty sure thats the same on the S10e.
Can confirm as samsung employee.
Yeah... because all essential features of modern smartphone are provided with less fancy package.
Maybe it will be the essential replacement for my essential phone
True true
That seems correct!

Muaz Qamar it is a consumers market, id rather have the hole punch than the note 8 bezels
