    Unless these offer some sort of price break vs comparable brands (which I don't think it is given the PRX usual price point), I don't see this as much of a benefit as many racks can be expanded. I still think their sweet spot is the fold away stuff. Seems like for a regular 4 post (1300) they're already higher than a comparable Rogue RML 490 (1100). Since a lot of people see Rogue as overpriced, I don't think this one will resonate with a lot of people.

      Totally understand that this is a new market for us (timing is a little rowdy due to steel pricing), but we are putting much of our efforts into new accessories and them being able to be incredibly modular! We value the review and your words as well because the standalone space is new. This whole pandemic definitely taught us that fitness looks different to a lot of folks and we wanted to be able to compete in the standalone arena as well as the space saving arena!

      @@danharbison6203 You respect the response? They didn't address any of the OP's critique's. Why they cost more than already established, standalone rack makers (Rogue, REP, Titan, etc), without any of the quality those racks offer (name plate that actually stabilizes, laser cut numbers, coming with safeties and j-cups in the price, etc). You dick riders are weird. PRX should stay in their lane. Stuff that folds and mounts to walls.

    • @prxperformance

      @@hitleractually8180 The crossmembers are already there for stability, so our name plate is really for aesthetics. All racks do come with j-cups and we have spotter options to add as an accessory. We didn't come in here saying we were the best. Just another option. Thanks!

    Thanks for the review, Coop and GGR team! That tricep flex...electric! We're definitely branching out by stepping into the standalone arena, as many of you know us for space saving, fold up racks. While we continue to grow and finesse Build Limitless, the future attachments and modular accessories will be next level! We might have some more teasers on our social channels 😃

    Eleiko offers the same thing with their Prestera line. You can start out with the Half rack and grow from there. Of course it's going to be way more expensive....ouch. Got the Prestera half rack.
    Oak club manufacturing offers a cool rack that can grow and it has wicked cool attachments like the James Hooks and their safety arms.
    Rogue and Rep fitness seem to offer the best deals with a lot of attachments.
    One cool rack that I wish I had a chance to check out is the Arsenal Strength rack. They offer both 7 gauge and 11 gauge versions.

    This is an execution issue on an otherwise good idea. An expandable rack system makes sense for a lot of folks, but I almost wonder if it'd be better to sell them piece by piece with "suggested" configurations. Bonus if they used specs that allowed for interoperability with competitors' racks. If I could buy a PRX upright to expand my Rogue rack? Now we're talking. It would dramatically expand the market for their expansion components beyond customers who have bought into their "system" they have here.
    For the side-to-side wobble, I wonder if they could make some corner braces that would bolt in and have a hole for band pegs, etc so you could also use them for an expanded rack in the future.

    • @prxperformance
      @prxperformance 2 роки тому +1
