TheDailyWoo Thanks for the video!! My family and I are going next week (1st time) by the way...what type of camera do you use? Is so clear and focus is amazing!!!
Hey Adam if your around Fresno here are some cool spots : Forestiere gardens which is an underground home near the 99hwy and Shaw ave, the city hall was used as the exteriors in gremlins 2 I believe and if you drive to north fork which is a small town near oakhurst is the actual center of California nice to see central California in your videos let me know if you need some info on other central California stuff!
Love your family , and traveling with you on you tube. You are saving my sanity. I found your channel last week and am so happy there are so many videos to watch. I will not have to watch TV for a long time, maybe ever. I love the videos with Large Marge. This is so soothing and stimulating at the same time. So grateful to you Adam, and those who go with you.
In 1994 my 8th grade class from Huntington Beach had a week long class trip to Yosemite we stayed in the curry village in the bottom of the valley. My favorite trail was called the mist trail or Emerald falls I think truly a amazing national park
My grandparents lived in Oakhurst when I was a kid. Spent a lot of time there. my uncle is buried at the cemetery not far from the talking bear.Thank you Adam , you brought me back
Very excited for you on this. We had big plans to go back to California this year and explore more of Eastern California, Yosemite/Sequoia/Kings Canyon. However spouse health issues postponed this trip for one year. So I am grateful to see this through your eyes/lens.
Wow that is beautiful! If I go to California I want to visit Yosemite and ride that train. Thanks for taking us along! So glad your family got to experience this magical place with you! 👍 🚂🌲⛰
That was cool. I’ve never been there, thanks for sharing! That was a sweet shot when your family was doing the selfie, and the train chugged our that steam. Glad your camera is safe. That was a close one. Have a good week!
Beautiful vistas, waterfalls, fun train ride, quaint shops... Did you see El Capitan? You know Shatner climbed that rock freehand in Star Trek 5... ;-)
Wow! What a beautiful looking Shay engine! I was actually in Yosemite back in May, but I didn't really get to go to a lot of places. I definitely want to go back and take the Sugar Pine Railroad.
California home-grown, can't believe I've never been to Yosemite. Seeing that Sugar Pine Railroad has finally convinced me. Garsh I love trains...I've got to get on that. Beautiful, thanks for sharing.
I've never been to Yosemite so your vlog on your trip there is much appreciated. A few weeks ago we travelled to the west coast to visit our daughter and son in law in Las Vegas. We did a side trip to The Grand Canyon and I enjoyed every minute of it. When we get back out there I would now love to visit Yosemite. The train ride looks like a nice adventure. It is sad to see the damage that the fire caused. I was thinking when you mentioned the half mile hike down to see the water fall that there would be a return hike back up. That would be the difficult part. Yeah for your mom doing the hike there and back.
The design of the Shay locomotive, the engine that pulled the train, is most likely the best example of how man can put so much power into a boiler. Glad to see Adam riding the rails!
As much as I love kitty cats, I’m really happy that you didn’t run into mountain lions! You got enough cougars chasing after you as it is! .... seriously though, digging your family vacation. That train was cool. This has been a bucket list item for a while.
We had one in my area in WA state...but I was told you need to stand your ground and raise arms to look as large as possible...but to not move at all..?! The rangers here say move and shout.. Which is it?!😮 Also high speed bicyclists going through the mountains look like fleeing deer to them! 😮
lol, I was just at Glacier Point yesterday. Best advice - get inside the valley early (like 5-6am), find a good parking spot and use the public transportation to get around for the rest of the day.
Oh, wow.....first time at Yosemite?! I too, have ridden the train....a long time ago. I have also been on the Skunk train from Willits to Fort Bragg Ca, the Jamestown Ca RR and the best was/is the D&RGW from Durango to Silverton Colorado.....I HIGHLY recommend it! It's an amazing experience! Glad you got to experience that....especially with the fam! Thanks for sharing it with us, Adam!
Wow it's beautiful there. Your sister screaming bc that truck almost ran over your camera was priceless lol. And sweet momma taught you what a petunia really is 😂💙
One thing they left out on the Mountain Lion sign: 'Don't climb a tree!" If someone did, they would be up the tree and" up the creek without a paddle"! Glad your camera was safe!
Absolutely epic views Adam!!! I love the waterfalls! It's so good to see you spending time with your dad, mom and sister!!! Thanks for taking us along!!!!
I love your family even tho I don't know them you can just see the love. I've not been there either. I want to see all the National Parks one day!! Thanks for the ride along Adam!!!!!
Live near the university and usually go here alot. Next time go as soon as winter is over. The falls are roaring and the snow is still kind of out and the animals are roaming everywhere and flowers are coming out. This park is beautiful
Thank you so much for taking the camera along to share the park with us. You could have just been with your family, yet you chose to share with us. That means a lot, Adam, and again, thank you for sharing, not only your time, but your family.
I've been to Yosemite several times. I even hiked to the top of Yosemite Falls, but never visited the Sugar Pine Railroad. It's now on my "to do" list. Great vlog! Thanks.
Oh wow ....!! That such a beautiful place !! I know you and your family really enjoyed that , especially being able to experience it together . I was in a panic too when the vehicle almost ran over your camera !! I was doing what your sister did . LOL !! I was like , NO......!! SO GLAD IT DIDN'T GET RAN OVER !! I love the old sugar pine cone and the old steam engine train was awesome to see . There was so much to see and do . I loved it all !! Except seeing where the fires burnt the trees . That was sad . I have got to share this with my son . He works for a tree service and he loves his job . They go to all of these tree climbing and logging competitions . He even teaches classes on safety when it comes to climbing the trees . I...on the other hand do not like his job , it scares me !! He reassures me that it's all about safety all of the time though. Anyway....thank you so much for sharing this beautiful place and your family too with us Adam The Woo..Woo....!!
I live in the Oakhurst area. I'm so glad you came!! It's so weird seeing you enjoy the things I see all the time. It's kind of blowing my mind. Love it! Hope you and your family had a good visit.
I was literally just there. Amazingly beautiful place! Best advice for non reserved camping: Get up early and get in line asap at camp reservations in Yosemite Valley. First come, first serve on cancelled camping spot reservations. We came with no reservations at all. We stayed 4 days, and each day we didn't have a problem reserving another spot so long as we got there early. Your odds of keeping the same spot each day are extremely low, so expect to move. You'll stay somewhat localized in the upper/lower pines area of the valley. If you plan on staying at the A-frame tents, it's roughly 100 dollars a night per family. Yosemite Lodge will cost you in excess of 600+ per night in middle of summer season. If you want to climb the cables of Half-Dome you need a permit which there's quite a wait for.
Been at Yosemite several times. If you are going to the Valley have your Father check out the Old Church. You can walk to Mirror Lake, it's silting up and might be a Meadow. Try to go to Glacier Point, it overlooks the Valley. Take Hwy 120 goes across Yosemite through the Park to Le Vanning or Mono Lake.
Nothing like yr 1st Yosemite experience - it really does change u, or at very least, ur perspective. Regardless of length of stay, tis never enuff - u'll never see it all, or the same thing in the same way twice. It really is a place of magic. LoL - I was so jealous for a sec, there, wondering how u managed to find falls & a gorge that u could walk down to, as nearly every similar spot we visited required a strenuous uphill battle (for me, at least). The winter prior to our trip, there'd been record sno-pak. We arrived at height of it's melt, resulting in substantial falls, river heights, & flooding of some parking lots/low-lying areas. Side-tripped to Hetch-Hetchy Dam/adjacent falls - another amazing trek. Rt before we left, we drove from the sweltering valley floor to a sno-covered mountaintop, encountering a coyote mid-point. Covered diff pt of park than yr vid highlites - now I wanna return even more to ride the train!
Fantastic Video Adam! I enjoy watching you with your family enjoying the trip. You look relaxed and calm. I almost jumped outta my chair when that car drove rite next to your phone while you were getting in the Family pick the dad was. Taking. Also when you lost yur footing too. Be Safe out there buddy 😀🤠
Thanks Adam. I enjoyed your video portion of filming on the train. It will give me ideas of when I go to New Mexico and take a steam train ride up North. Thanks
I live near the Durango train. There’s a lot of fire damage going to be there as the fire is still going! I’ve never been to Yosemite, Thanks for taking me along!
Thank you for sharing your great adventure with your devoted fans. And yes, your subscribers are fans! Love your family. Glad to see all of you having a fun time. I hope you have a super 4th of July! Our freedom is a wonderful thing!!! 👍🎇🎊🎆🎇🎉
Love Yosemite! If you ever camp inside the Park.. DO follow Ranger's instructions to use their pulleys to hoist all your food (put into coolers) up between the trees when you are not there or sleeping.. Or you will encounter a bear!
That moment when out of nowhere a truck nearly runs over your camera :-o . Yesterday's video needs some lovin ua-cam.com/video/t7lc4vkPS4k/v-deo.html

Standing by the train with your family brings back thoughts Of a incredible Griswold’s vacation

Having the camera almost get run over would fit with that theme too
Love your family , and traveling with you on you tube. You are saving my sanity.

You’re so fortunate to be there this year when there is lots of water! The waterfalls are known to dry up in drought years. Enjoy!
The Woo Family Vacation! I like your mom's southern accent.
Very excited for you on this. We had big plans to go back to California this year and explore more of Eastern California, Yosemite/Sequoia/Kings Canyon. However spouse health issues postponed this trip for one year. So I am grateful to see this through your eyes/lens.

California home-grown, can't believe I've never been to Yosemite. Seeing that Sugar Pine Railroad has finally convinced me. Garsh I love trains...I've got to get on that. Beautiful, thanks for sharing.

You'll enjoy all of the Yosemite experience.
That quote on that cool mural is a John Muir quote. My hero.
WOW!!! You get around to many cool places!!! Right On!!! Love it!!!
The design of the Shay locomotive, the engine that pulled the train, is most likely the best example of how man can put so much power into a boiler. Glad to see Adam riding the rails!
Happy birthday to TheDailyWoo channel!!
