  • I few months ago I decided to have my very first attempt at Aquascaping and I introduced a small Ghost Knife fish to the setup along with a few other tank mates. in that short period the tank got out of control with algae that I couldn't control and the knife fish out grew the tank very quickly, its now time to have a second attempt at creating a special home for my fish.

I love knife fish. I had one that lived for over 10 years he got massive as well. Had to give him away in the end. He went to an outdoor pond.

Used to have a few black ghost knife fish a couple got to 13-14 inches, kept them in a 5x2x2ft tank over double the volume of what you've just bought and even that was a bit on the small side imo... The green terror will definitely need more space when fully grown, your going to need a 6 footer soon 😂

nice vid mate. i had the same tank up untill a few weeks ago but had to swap it out for a slightly taller one. id be interested to see if you can keep those red leaved plants growing. every time ive tried they melted in a few weeks. i have best luck growing crypts. one of my tanks is fast running out of swimming room due to the number of plants that have grown. another easy plant to try is rotarla rotundifolia. i think you have lilaeopsis brasiliensis which is a good easy plant that spreads fast once settled.
