covenants are promises from God. So looking into them.
You need to know who they are addressed to. Are they conditional.
Do they have consequences.
Noah's Covenant for example is to all mankind. it is one that God will preservean and not destroy him as long as the world earth lasts. It is about the sanctity of Life for animals and Humans. This covenant is time limited.
As you can see God did not destroy man even though we have not been able to meet the provisos of this Covenant. Why is this so? because God is true to his mission to set up a colony on earth filled with his Children ruling this seen world. God would be a failure and a list of he did not preserve man and also because God loves his creation and that is all of mankind. Not specifically one nation.

The new Covenant is not a National covenant it is an individual covenant and is way better than the Mosaic Covenant. the other covenants will still be at play and the Messiah will fill them to the fullest as well.

Covenant #4 The Davidic covenant.

God promised to let David's successors rule if they kept the law.

The annointed one is to come out of the line of David. David was the Best King. and during his reign Israel almost had all of the promised land under their control.
The Messiah is from the line of David. which Jesus Christ fulfilled.
It appears that Jesus did not and that is written about in Isaiah, as well his rejection was predicted. Not all the Jews rejected Jesus.

The Old covenant is usually referred to the Covenant made with Moses. The New Covenant was made with Believers in Jesus.
