Yes, there are solar policies related to solar water pump which involve subsidy from Government also. Further it will depend upon the DISCOM of your state.
We recently got government subsidized solar system with 2000watt panels and 2kva Utl Mttp pcu. We additionally bought 4 150ah batteries(batteries are additional to make it both on-grid and off-grid,). Net metering system is also included. Also chemical earthing was done by them with lightening arrester installed also. Total cost was about 1.1 lakh rupees. It was totally worth as we run 2 gaming pc's, 1 refrigerator and 50" tv at the same time with only about 50% usage. And all these run directly on solar panels during peak sunlight while charging the batteries too. In short, worth every penny. The only regret is that we should have bought 3kva with 3000watt panels and 3kva pcu for only 20k extra. Highly regret it. If you have any questions , you can ask me below
Yes,it can charge all four batteries in half a day. You can also use mains power at night. Just connect the pcu with mains,it is so smart,it won't charge the batteries at night but will only bypass the mains. If the batteries are low, only then it will charge them

i have a question sir!. is there any additional subsidy for the electricity we send back to the electricity board, or is it included in the initial subsidy offered by the government during installation of the on-grid solar system?
You get paid for every unit of electricity you send back. Initial subsidy will not be recovered from you. Consider it as a discount and not like loan which will be recovered. Even if you have off grid system ( you are not sending any electricity to the govt.) then too u will get initial subsidy
No additional subsidy will be provided for the electricity send back to the electricity board. However, you will not get 100% of generation of your system. Though it depends on DISCOM of State . The production of electricity is adjusted in your bill only.
Really nice thing that u r making us aware of not just mobiles/laptops but other technological changes that are happening around us...Hats off to u Mr. Ranjit...really appreciate ur work...
Sir , please continue teaching us with new topics... Q- How much solar panel can be installed and if we install enough then can our electricity bill become zero and if we generated enough power to supply the electricity board .. will they pay us???
Sie this is an excellent video.... Please explain us on below points if you have time. 1. How to choose the solar panel/company/type? 2. How to calculate our house consumption on average? Just to understand how many KW system will suit our home? 3. In an ongrid system...how we will get benefitted...? Will govt pay us back as we are supplying power to them?
Hi..nicely explained. I have few queries though, it would be great if you can answer these. 1. With on grid system in place, how it would work in nights or daytime when its cloudy(i assume it would completely be on main line power) 2. With On grid system, if we are generating excess power which goes back to main power line. Lets say we sent 10 units out of 20 units back to power lines. Do we get relaxation for this 10 units in electricity bill? 3. With on grid system, can we still place typical battery inverters for power backup? (especially needed in rural area) Thanks in advance!
Great choice of topic ! Indian tech channels have narrow mindset that technology corresponds to just smartphones and nowhere other technological innovations are occurring. Nice start !
Very informative video was thinking of installing one but didnt knew the pro and cons of both but now got clarification regarding the one we need thanks
Greetings, quite enlightenung presentation. A few queries : 1. can we have combo of the on gri and off grid system working in house hold 2. possibly an export-import meter is installed to account for consumption. Do we get any refund/ discount from electricity board for the units poured by the system in the grid 3. will the existing inverter system work as before when on/off grid system is installed 4. can we get costing details/ break up of cost for on/off grid system say of the 5 Kva capacity for a house hold and how much roof area will be required for it. 5. God forbids, if the panels on the roof top are accidentally damaged/blown awat by wind then shall we continue getting uninterrupted supply from grid. Similarly, since all panels will be connected to each other and if any one develops snag/is damaged, shall we get supply still!
Some clarifications regarding on-grid billing will be helpful: 1. Consumed from grid = 100 unit, Generated from solar and transferred to grid = 150 units. In such a case, how the electricity bill will be generated? Will the units be carried forward? 2. Electricity is charged on different rates for different slabs. Like first 50 units @ Rs 2.5 per unit, Next 150 units @Rs 4.30 per unit and so on. At which rate, the electricity generated from solar will be deducted? Will the deduction be on slab basis or the net units (total consumed minus total generated) will be billed on slab basis?

Really nice thing that u r making us aware of not just mobiles/laptops but other technological changes that are happening around us...Hats off to u Mr. Ranjit...really appreciate ur work...
Tech should not be limited to mobile phones and laptops.... great job sir.
While others are busy in making realme C11 video.. Sir Ranjit was busy in making something informative video.... Thanks sir for this video..🤘🤘
Really glad you are covering all these various tech related topics. I like this and more of this will be appreciated. Thank You,
I think this is the only big Tech Channel in India working for benefitting common man 👍👍👍👍 Subscribed Congrats 3Milllion
Sir , please continue teaching us with new topics...
Q- How much solar panel can be installed and if we install enough then can our electricity bill become zero and if we generated enough power to supply the electricity board .. will they pay us???
Yes sir..... Loving your work of covering all aspects of tech and not only Phone Laptops and Other gadgets..👍👍
Tbh this content is more amazing and educational to watch than watching smartphone unboxing.
An excellent choice for an off topic content! This will also create awareness for clean energy! Good work.
1. With on grid system in place, how it would work in nights or daytime when its cloudy(i assume it would completely be on main line power)
2. With On grid system, if we are generating excess power which goes back to main power line. Lets say we sent 10 units out of 20 units back to power lines. Do we get relaxation for this 10 units in electricity bill?
3. With on grid system, can we still place typical battery inverters for power backup? (especially needed in rural area)
Thanks in advance!
Yes please post the dedicated video next week. Would love to learn more about this. Thanks.
Great choice of topic ! Indian tech channels have narrow mindset that technology corresponds to just smartphones and nowhere other technological innovations are occurring. Nice start !
Thank you so much for this video. Cleared so many doubts.. Loved it. Hope our setup gets done soon. 😃
We've applied for the 3.25 KVA setup.
Far better than worlds highest PAID REVIEWER TECHNICAL GURUJI
I liked the way you showed the usage of s6 lite in a very creative way. Nice Air
Very informative video was thinking of installing one but didnt knew the pro and cons of both but now got clarification regarding the one we need thanks

I love the way he explains the things hats off sir
U are doing a great work sir . It's very good and encouraging to us to cut carbon emissions
Thank you for this video keep making videos which actually matters ..also make videos on electric cars and it's future and charge stations
You are a true tech youtuber covering all technology things.
Some clarifications regarding on-grid billing will be helpful:
I'm really happy to be a part of this channel! We are loving your off topic content Sir! Make some more videos like this❣️
I just love your content.... I'm getting tech education every day.
Sir you are not only unboxing but sharing your thoughts too.
That is why you are the best Tech UA-camr...
Well Explained 😊
And Congratulations 🎉❣️🎉 For 3 Million Subscribers ;)
I wished you were my professor during my electrical engineering college days! Our classes used to suck. You make this interesting

Now this is what a tech channel should be , covering (routers, ssd, Home appliances, pc, laptops, commercial appliances, tech qna etc ) and not Just covering Mobile tech all the time
Tired of watching Chinese smartphone launch and reviews and Unboxing. Same stuffs. This is far better. Laptop, wifi, headphones, tws lots of information being shared which helps us to take buying decisions.
Thank You, Mr. Ranjit
Nice video, ranjeet sir. I am your regular viewer and i think u have been a nice way giver to many viewers. Coz, u r relating your videos with equipments that people are/will be using in day to day life
I read that there are some on grid inverters that is still able to operate during a power outage from the grid, they automatically disconnect from the grid and operate in a stand alone system. The Sunnyboy inverter can operate in stand alone with a dedicated output for this purpose but only certain percentage of output power, also read that the Victron inverters can also perform this function.
Thank you for this information. I was researching on this topic and couldn't find rock solid details until now.
Great content @geekyranjit!!!!
You have really maintained the quality of content since you started ....kudos buddy
I was thinking about installing solar panels,
And U posted the video about the exact same thing,
Coincidence I thing Yes ...

Thanks sir ❤️
Great to see popular Indian UA-camrs covering home electric setups. Great job
It's really amazing to see some new content, because right now all I can see in the name of tech is mobile, TV, and it's accessories.
Very detailed explanation. Thanks Ranjeet, always the best
Great information.
Idk why do we only think of smartphones and laptops when it comes to tech?
Such coverage of tech is appreciated 👍
Do come up with more
Great knowledge gained today, please keep doing such good work.
