Mental health is a tough thing to deal with, especially during the winter, so never feel bad for taking some well-deserved self-care. I'm so glad to hear you're coming out of your reading slump since I've been struggling with one to, and you always inspire me to read again. Also, so glad for the Truly Devious shout out. It was literally the book that reminded me how much I loved reading.
Sat down to read and drink coffee to start off the day, saw this on my recommended video, and I decided watching this was more important. I'm so glad you're back. You were my first booktuber, and I've missed you because you're so sweet and amazing. There's something about your demeanor that just brings me peace, and I love you for it.
So glad you're back! I love your videos! I'm Chilean, so in school we actually read several books by Isabel Allende, and my favorite by far is "The House of the Spirits" o "La Casa de los Espíritus". It is such a beautiful and special novel, I'm sure you're going to love it. Also, I really recommend to you the works of Gabriel García Márquez, especially "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and "Chronicle of a Death Foretold", they are so amazing and unique stories.
I can’t adequately express the joy I felt when I saw this. So happy you’re back! You have such a calming presence that makes all your videos such a pleasure to watch.

You are my favorite book tube vlogger. Your taste in books is so similar to what I like. Thank you for making videos! Sometimes I get stuck and I just don’t know what to read, but I have a huge craving for books, and your videos have helped me so much.
I watched a film recently that, interestingly enough, roused a deep passion within me to pursue literature. My curiosity took me to UA-cam and I found your channel within about an hour of perusing BookTube. Hannah, I instantly fell in love with not only your channel, but your calm (and lovely) demeanor. Your adoration of storytelling through literature inspires me so much! Your insights are such a gift, and I am so happy to have you back. Sending so much love to you!
yvonne's tea This is quite ironic given that Hannah dislikes this book very much, but the film Call Me By Your Name. It roused such inspiration within me because it was so beautifully done in every capacity. I was so excited to know that it was an adaptation from the book. Getting lost in the story of CMBYN urged me to get lost in other stories as well!

Glad to have u back! Hope u took the time u needed. Don't feel bad that you had to take some time off because you are human and being human means that you need to take breaks. If anyone makes you feel guilty about taking a break, ignore them. We understand and we care about u. I am excited for new videos!
For 2020 the one thing I have to hold up and praise is Miracle Maiden (horror/adventure). It follows the story of a young girl named Kea and starts up with her being kidnapped by a group led by a noble woman named Miyune Leestel. Miyune takes her under like a daughter, and ere kicks off one of the most unique stories I’ve ever seen. Shouts to the dark presence haunting kea, it’s soooo unsettling. “A familiar presence made itself known, and a shiver ran down my spine. Something started to tug at my soul, something sinister. An air of malice went around my neck like a noose.” Love that line. Chapter 19 is mad crazy, horror at its finest.
Yeaaaasssssss Hannah!!! Soooo good to see your lovely face and hear your wonderful voice again!! Take any break you need, at any time, for any length, I will always be excited to see your videos and passionate about you taking care of yourself while on hiatus. Such a fun video! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on these books!
I just finished Station 11 as the rise of coronavirus news took flight... what an interesting time to read that book, but I loved it and can’t wait for the glass hotel!
OMG!! When I heard you say that you wanted to you read Murakami I had to stop the video for a moment a process all my emotions - Murakami is my favorite author EVER I am so exited for you to get to know him. I think you should start with Nowegian Wood, is not that big as other of his books, but also I absolutely LOVE The wind-up bird chronicle
So glad you're back!! I LOVED The Starless Sea so much that I cried during the last 100 pages simply because I didn't want it to end! It's definitely my new favorite book of all time so I hope you love it!!
You always have the best recommendations for the best books and all the books you have picked out I ended up loving them!!!! Keep up your amazing work!

We have a lot of similar books on our to-read list! I'm excited and daunted by the prospect ofreading The Priory of the Orange Tree but I can't resist a big book like that haha. It's so nice to see you back and I hope you make more videos soon :)

Two books mentioned about a pandemic that wiped out the world and here we are... just a month later! (not saying the world will be wiped out but think about what we are going through right now). Crazy how things can change in just a few days!
The Guinevere Deception is... not Kiersten White's best book. There's so much she could've done with that concept and instead she gave us a non-existent plot and a blank canvas of a protagonist. It reads more like a self insert fanfic of the Arthurian legend than a retelling. I do hope it works out for you though
@@elieonyt I don't really pay attention to the writing style unless it's something very unique but I don't think that was the problem for me, as I usually prefer non-flowery and to the point writing (think E. Lockhart). I have read and thoroughly enjoyed The Conqueror's Saga (also by Kiersten White), so I think the problem lied within the lack of plot and how Guinevere has 0 agency compared to Lada. Just my opinion though

I love how chill your reviews are! Your presence is calming
"cant wait to read this book Im gonna die" says in a matter of fact tone
So nice to see you again Hannah!!
Murakami is amazing! I would definitely suggest starting with Norwegian Wood, such a brilliant book and I think it is a great place for someone who is new to Murakami to start :)
I abslutely LOVE how excited and passionated you get when you talk about books and how much they mean to you! Love you, thank you for your inspiration!
a song of achilles was amazing! be ready to have a good cry after reading it
Glad to have u back!
An air of malice went around my neck like a noose.”
Love that line.
Please, please stick around. It's so lovely to see you back! You have enriched my reading so much. ❤
(Habits, wisdom & mindset of highly successful people) is the best book available on kindle.
Hannah, it's so wonderful to see you upload again! (Although please don't pressure yourself, your health is the most important thing) You and your videos have been such a great part of my life (which sounds odd but it's true!) You are literally the reason I started reading again, and I found my favourite book ever through your channel, so thank you!
I didn't even realize how much I missed your voice.
Super super excited your back while you were gone I watched every single one of your videos and bought every book that you mentioned as good so those are all my books I want to read this year!!❤️
Since you loved Camelot and all that history stuff, you should DEFINITELY try merlin on Netflix. I’ve absolutely loved it when I was younger and still do. Gonna re watch it soon 😭♥️
AYYE 🥰
I missed you’re videos soooo much. I’m sooo happy you’re back
We have a lot of similar books on our to-read list! I'm excited and daunted by the prospect ofreading The Priory of the Orange Tree but I can't resist a big book like that haha. It's so nice to see you back and I hope you make more videos soon :)
I also love reading books and I recommend and myself read many times is Perry Marios and the Maroon Stone
I just finished and- no joke- it completely changed the way I view character and world building in fantasy books
So great to have you back! I've missed you!
OH MY GOD I’ve missed you so much 🥺❤️✨
So glad you're back! 💜 I need to read The Dark Vault too, Schwab is my absolute favourite author and it's one of the only books I haven't read by her.
With Murakami, start with Norwegian Wood. It’s an easy transition into his writing.
I also love reading specially fictional novels and just finished Perry Marios and the Maroon Stone
HANNAH, it's so nice to see you again, i've missed you so much 💛 you always inspire me to pick up a book from my shelf and start reading. i really love watching your videos!
I missed you so so much Hannah. Love you lots 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Welcome back, Hannah!!! So glad you took the time to take care of YOU! It is so WONDERFUL to see you again. Love and lots of hugs!!! And yes, I am looking at "The Truthwitch" series as next on my TBR along with "The Priory of the Orange Tree." We will plow through these behemoth books together.
Two books mentioned about a pandemic that wiped out the world and here we are... just a month later! (not saying the world will be wiped out but think about what we are going through right now). Crazy how things can change in just a few days!
So happy you're back!!
The house of the spirits is so good, I love Isabel Allende! Hope you enjoy it and every other book on this list 💙
The Guinevere Deception is... not Kiersten White's best book. There's so much she could've done with that concept and instead she gave us a non-existent plot and a blank canvas of a protagonist. It reads more like a self insert fanfic of the Arthurian legend than a retelling. I do hope it works out for you though
i haven't read any of her works just paranormalcy and her writing style is a lil bit dry idk maybe other books are better
Hanaah I've been waiting for you for months. I literally kept checking weekly for new video. At last you're back :)
haa it's been ages since i heard that outro music 🥺
IM SOOO HAPPPPY THAT YOU ARE BACKKK! LOVE YOUUUU
