Karise is the most amazing singer, phenomenal. You need to watch Threads of silence and the recording of Hounddog. Her version of hallelujah on The Voice Australia is off the charts. I heard that even Leonard Cohen gave it the thumbs up. Unfortunately everything from The Voice Australia is very short.
Thanks mate my wife passed 3 years ago, Debbie was a great fan the first thing Deb said omg it’s Janice reborn, when I listen to her it makes me feel my wife is close by, Thanks so much unfortunately she left but in a good place💕
This is my favourite of Karise's songs, She is the BOMB vocally (but not 'bombastic,' definition: 'using many showy or high flown words with too little thought'). I have a CD by Karise with this song on it and it is first class. Bobby Hadfield of The Righeous Brothers also does this song in his counter-tenor voice and it also will blow you away .I'm a heart-wrenched wreck in tears after hearing their versions of 'Stay With Me Baby'.
@@youmaderoskoe Really! I suppose it has moved in meaning like the word 'terrific' which in modern day means wonderful, but actually comes from the word 'terrible.'
She was and still is the best female singer in australia
What a powerhouse voice and she was only a teenager at this time. She could wake the dead. My favourite Aussie soul singer. Thanks for this reaction.
Wow wow wow. Stunning voice ...
"Imma drop them bags" hahaha! Love it!
The magical karise eden!

That's why she sanging like that. Some man broke her heart and left. The first time I heard that song was by Bette Midler in The Rose.

I will check out the "Righteous" version & we use bombastic as a substitute for fantastic. Definitely not meant to belittle her song lyrics!

Check out “Maybe you can love me anyway” for a longer soulful song. Thank you Roskoe ❤️
