Ok you are right… but try to contextualize what he was speaking about-which was people not interested in praising God- the metaphor of “wet wood was appropriate”. Not impossible of course but green wood “wet” does not burn easily- the message- don’t bother, get dry wood, ready to burn.

However, if a person is not living a Victorious Holy Ghost live life, they won't have any fire unless it's the fire of the flesh. It's easy to see the fire of the flesh because it shows up when the music hits Revisiting 1st Kings 18:19-39 no metaphor needed.
