Heard that argument before. Point is, there are so many miniscule variables that create an impactful ripple effect as to whether someone will turn out violent. On the surface your experience appears to be the same to his, but we don't know all and every variable that ensured that you did not turn out like him. It's all so complex. If we could but place a human consciousness into a computer software we could begin to understand what are the miniscule variables that work together to create that deadly cocktail for violence.

No excuses for making decisions. We all have to make a choice as an adult. It is sad...I get it. I've had friends with double life and one on death row who were dealt a truly shit life from infancy to adult hood but even they would tell you they made a choice man. There are mental health issues that definitely come into play but to say it's the systems fault is a weak simple minded persons excuse for his actions

Funny that they did not featured all Castros sons, so your heart may be broken by that side. This vid is quite typical - it's featuring only offender side, not the victim. This little boy is innocent, but his father is guilty. Don't break your heart to the offender but to the victim.

I had an incredibly abusive upbringing as well. My parents would often beat and yell at me even if it was for something as trivial as getting a C+ on a single subject. Sometimes they would even deprive me of sleep forcing me to stand up on my 2 feet throughout the night. My school life was hell as well. From 2nd to 12th grade I've been brutally bullied. 2nd to 8th grade I was constantly beaten, teased, and mocked just because of my autistic traits (e.g. lack of eye contact and difficulty reading body language). In high school I was shunned, ostracized, and excluded like there was no tomorrow also because of my autistic traits. During those years virtually nobody did a damn thing to improve my quality of life. No intervention, nothing.
Yet, the thought of murdering anybody never crossed my mind. And it very likely never will.

CrackerLackin YT Except it is not as simple as that. Should US soldiers who follow an order and kill in war lose their lives? Should one kill for defending himself or someone he loves lose his life? What about unintentional accident? What about wrongful accusation? What about those who kill because they are abused? What is the purpose of killing someone who kills? You need to get out of your narrow perspective.

The wrong people are sometimes put on Death Row, though. It's not that simple. By executing them all we give those who were put there for the wrong reasons no second chance. Look it up yourself. Our system isn't perfect.
