I own one. at 41 with a child I can't risk serious injury. protection is the best insurance. I love it, it is comfortable. I use it for mounting biking. The range of motion and comfort are nice. I'm a bigger guy it fits me a bit snug.
hey guys I just bought me a 125 scooter and I will be riding it in "dangerous" city streets... what will be the ideal gear system suggested... should I include the collar in the mix??
dont get this. my buddy wrecked while jumping his yz125 and broke his collarbone because of this brace. the leatt gpx 4.5 and 5.5 are way better. the 5.5 has a push button better than this one. the extra money is worth it. btw the leatt neck braces in general all have a collar bone cut out so you dont injure your collar bone.
RedCrimsonBaron He was in the woods at one of our home made jumps and he landed front wheel first. He has a yz125 and he said he bottomed out the front suspension, so his head jolted forward and when he hit the ground, his head then went sideways which then broke his collarbone. The leatt neck brace I have has collarbone "cut outs" which makes it almost impossible to break your collar bone.
You can break your collarbone from impact to the arms, elbows and shoulders too..... I doubt this collar had anything to do with his collar bone breaking
This is the collar that we use and it is by far my favorite.

This is the affordable, road riding neck brace that you can use. Fox and Leatt ones are $300; this one is under $100.
If I ever get to ride again I do believe this will be my 1st investment.
Can this be worn over an ADV jacket for street and dual sport mode?
I haven't used mine yet. Are they easy to get used to?
does it work with fox titan sport jacket? thanks
