Ang Pilipinas ang may pinakamaraming Kristiyano sa buong Asya at ika-5 naman sa buong mundo. Hindi na nakakapagtakang patuloy na pinahahalagahan ng mga Pilipino ang pananampalataya’t paniniwalang kinagisnan.
Sa nalalapit na pagdiriwang ng ika-500 taon ng Kristiyanismo sa bansa, tayo’y magbalik-tanaw sa mga kaganapang nagpasimula at mas lalo pang nagpatibay sa pananampalatayang Kristiyano ng mga Pilipino. Makiisa sa awiting ‘We Give Our Yes!’.

Ours is not a perfect church. But even with the first followers of Christ, even the disciples were not perfect. They err, they move on. But one thing i know is certain, only the love of God sustains and perfects us, His people, His church. watching this, made me emotional, gave me goosebumps. i felt so small, in the grand scheme of things. so many things has happened throughout the years, from the time this faith has come to our shores. and i ask myself if i can contribute to keeping it alive. i know even in my smallness, i am so much willing to give a piece of me to keep the faith alive and be sustained for the next generation. so that they too will be blessed just as i am blessed by the contributions of those who were before me. :)
