I love the "check engine light" analogy!! So glad you made the point that horsemanship starts on the ground, long before any "training". It starts with knowing your horse, paying attention to the little things when you first look at them each morning. Like maybe they have a little extra wrinkle in their eyelid today and you know that is a slight sign of some stress in your horse, or whatever the case may be. It MATTERS! The little things matter and the horses know if we know and are paying attention. I loved how you put this concept into a good analogy for people to understand and remember - "check engine light", that's great! A LOT of people listen to you and learn from you so I'm glad you are a trainer who still listens to your horses and teaches others to do that too.
Thank you so much, Jonathan. I really appreciate it. Just wanted to reach out. I have old Hollywood done at mayors Mr. gunsmoke mayor. I only have one left that she’s a 30 year old. Also have her daughter and I just spread her to a metallic cat. Maybe I didn’t do it right but it’s worth a try, I also have a 2 1/2 year old Palomino metallic and something else. I can’t remember a pan but you inspire me so much to keep riding. I’m 65 now and I’m still on the saddle. Thank you for all the information. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Thank you.
Loved the marginal gains rule. Im changing to that now. I used to say 1%, you nailed it exactly. Actually I resonated with all your golden rules. I really enjoy your videos, Thank you.
My wife and I stopped by the ranch for a selfie at the gate while house hunting back in April. Beautiful facility, hopefully in the upcoming weeks we will be able to meet in person.
Great rules to live by and as always great video and explanation. I am also a subscriber to "The Comfort Zone" and constant learner in trying to improve my horsemanship. I've been following "Bunny's" training and was wondering if there will be more videos of that filly's training or other young horses that you start or have in training. Again thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
Also, i would love to attend a clinic or lessons at your place sometime (I’m just around the corner.) I have a three year old that is behind due to some injuries, but would love to get some of your insight in person!

Speaking of your mom💟 I would love to know about your mom. That isn’t in a bad way at all. I saw a glimpse of a photo of her showing in one of your videos, when I began watching your stuff. It too was very inspirational. I would love to see the similarities between you and your mom. I know you keep yourself separate, but knowing your whole family is tied into this all is pretty neat. I have watched your wife as well, she is awesome too. Hope this isn’t taken wrong.

What kind of spurs do you wear?

So you drive your truck with your spurs on?
Yes. Sometimes even in sandals
