Royal Enfield Bullet Electra Motorcycle - Weird Model Year. Should I have?

I took a chance on a transition AVL model 2008 RE Bullet Electra. It is NOT an Iron Barrel but Aluminum. However it is has a carburetor and disc brake. Do I like it? Its Flighty.
