NECA Alien toys have been in my life so long, I can't remember anything else.
Wow! Its out. I must say i love him. Great paint job and he is so tall!! Nice surprise. Neca is just great
I remember the Macfarlane dog alien having a wavy tail tip too, make me wonder if it is meant to be like that. Nice to finally have an alien from each film in the trilogy. Along with the queen, my collection will be complete!

Finally got this figure and as with all the Alien toys I buy from NECA, it had something missing. In this case, the dome from his head. Luckily I now check the figures when they arrive before opening so I can return it.
He doesn't show it here but does mention it. There IS a hinge at the base of the neck that if you warm up (blow dryer, warm water) and push back, the head will look straight for a more dog like pose

You have to hand it to Neca. They make some amazing figures. In my mind, they are up there with Hasbro and Mattell. Nice figure, well detailed indeed.

Of course it's "taller" if you bend all the articulation from its legs.... which is not a "natural" position.
You can see that even the dogs do not get their legs totally straight... so taking this in mind, its height is quite the same as te others, yes, in its Natural pose :)

Dumbseeker Frampt Hey man. How mutch this figure cost?
for everybody having issues posing this (or any neca figure really) just dunk it in some hot water for half a minute and then go through and loosen all the joints. these figures are fragile and heat softens the plastic enough to work with. i do this with every neca figure i get as soon as i get it out of the package and i don't have any broken figures.

Does the stand works with the other Alien figures? I was planning to buy the closest stand as possible to this to match with my other Alien figures should I decide to buy it
I'm looking forward to getting this and the queen at some point althought since the left arm actually broke off on my "big chap" alien i find myself asking if it's worth it.
this figure looks amazing and the stand is a great inclusion,hopefully he doesn't have the problem of being to fragile like some other alien figures have had in the past.
i feel like the neck might push back, it looks like it from the back of the neck, like there's a little connector on the neck that makes it so the neck can swivel back, but i feel like i'm going to break it if i try to push it too hard

I finally got mine but the stand that came with it broke when I tried to put it up against the alien's waist to hold it. Is there a way to get a replacement for it?
The stand is really weak... I understand that it needs to bend a little bit, but it's soooo fragile. If it breaks, then that's it. You can't fix it, because if you glue it, it won't bend. Couple weeks after I got the figure, I wanted to change the pose, and while I was putting the figure back on the stand, the stand broke (yes, I was careful)...
I seriously prefer those stands which have small holes on them so you can just plug the figure in.
Damn Neca, I'm trying to save some money.

is there a reason the dog alien doesn't have the tube things on its back or is it just the way it was designed
In H.R. Giger's own words (RIP), the tubes on the original design were there to give balance to the body. As the creature in Alien3 was supposed to walk on all fours, the tubes were not necessary thus they were removed!
