- This is a large drainage system that we installed designed to move roof runoff water and subsurface water away from the homes foundation. The amount of water that a homes roof collects is astonishing and getting that water away from your homes foundation is vital to protect it from deterioration.

Great video, well put together. Great drone footage of the entire system. One area of concern was the clean out in the middle of the area. I would think lawn mowers would hit that constantly. I also like the after video showing how nice the yard looked after the system install. The yard was no longer muddy and soaked. Perfect!
Nice when neighbors work together to solve mutual water problems.
@@AnonTroll77 It’s always the best way to go! 💪
I’m at FDM shop a few times a month. Constantly installing their products all over!
That is a system built right right there.
Your attention to detail is amazing.
Nice overview with the drone.
@@bryanm5233 Thank you🙏
What an awesome sob, thanks for this one!!

This System Is Tricked out I love It. Good Detail, Great Install. I started Using The FrenchDrainMan Downspout filter/vents and they are great. I vent all my systems as of late and The amount of flow you are able to achieve is well worth it in those big gutter-Gushing Rains. Edit: I saw your shorts, You know about the filters. Some customers want them some dont!

There’s no concern over that water level in the retention pond rising?
That’s what the retention ponds are dug for so all the runoff from all these houses go into it. They plan the size of the pond per home size and area due to the wetland surrounding, etc. but as always with humans there’s error and he said water is still gonna sit in certain areas, but the retention ponds are made to handle it.
@@ProjectSimusFlorida Right. I get that it’s hard to slope a run of pipe that long and have the outlet right where you want it, but it looked like there’s a chance the pond could rise into the outlet of the drainage system over the hurricane season.
@@jstnnnnn If the water level is above the drainage pipe during a hurricane, that is the least of your problems and nothing you can really do about it. This is what happens when humans decide to reclaim nature's method of dealing with this issue because they want to live in places they shouldn't. But don't worry, our federal tax dollars will bail them out when the inevitable happens over and over again.
Nice plumbing yeah people have no idea what a pain it is to get everything right. No clean outs at downspout tho? Also I think saying that a max of 3-4 downspouts for a 4” pipe is vague. The runoff surface area is what matters. 2,500 square feet is generally my limit with good fall (a full bubble) before I recommend to a client to step up to 6”
I want to see at you guys home I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it very much
everyone I talk to in my neck of the woods hates on any corrugated pipe. they prefer to make holes into pvc for french drains. Is that going to be okay? I have like 6 gutter downspouts and I need to run a solid french drain around my back yard. The second thing I find interesting is how you have a french drain here and tie it into the 4 inch pvc. Is that because once you pass the corrugated section you dont expect water to collect in the pvc section?
Would a PVC-bender not help in your complex needs? With a PVC bender you could make your own long-turn elbows & the customers wouldn't see the extra expense b/c it'd be on their monthly electric bill.
Do you have a link to the fabric stitcher you use?
You use FDM pipe, but not their recommended fittings?
You need to stock up on white-SDR-35 for the risers.
I live in Venice Florida and all the house in these new developments are like that with water in between them.

If there is a pond in Florida, there is a gator in that pond😅😅😅
