That is an absolute beauty !!!
I love seeing these things. They were all produced for Edgecombe steel in Andalusia, Pennsylvania. There’s still one on display at the gate to the entrance entrance to the plant. Most of them have been lost to time but occasionally you’ll see a stainless chassis, cab or hood come up for sale. Edgecombe steel’s plant is literally on the border of Bucks County and Philadelphia county right on the Delaware river.
So a few of these were made?
I remember seeing them on the road when I was a kid
Thanks for this one it's been a number of years since i have been to the museum so this one is new to me .
A Delorean truck 😉💯👍🏻💯👍🏻💯👍🏻💯👍🏻💯👍🏻
I'm guessing there was a practical reason for these being built. Everyone who worked at the Sparrows Point steel mill in Baltimore drove a rusty brand new car that got replaced every 3 years or so.
Is is quite obvious that this truck's stainless steel body is what is needed to time travel with heavy cargo.😉
Sure is pretty in bare steel. Need to wear welding glasses to drive it in the sun.
