Freehand SHARPEN a carving gouge

In this video i run through the process i use to sharpen carving chisels, in this video's demo i sharpen a carving gouge. I run through sharpening the primary bevel, removing the burr and finally honing up the gouge. I use a lot of the same processes in my freehand sharpening a chisel video ( • How to Free Hand Sharp... ) in this video as i will be once again freehand sharpening in this video as sharpening a carving gouge with a jig is not done often.
