Thank you for this wonderful idea. When my son, age 15 lost his dad, he made a shrine out of most of his father's things. I had a hard time hanging onto Joe's things, my son probably wouldn't fit them for another 35 years, but I keep all those beautiful dress shirts. Now my son at age 26 is a Dad! LOL Grandpa's shirts are going to find a way after all! Best Book for Children? Something from Nothing!
I cut it really close to the line of stitching where the collar folds. That way you don't have to sew it because there's stitching already there! Hope that makes sense!
@@skylarchadwick1645 Funnily enough I was thinking about this just now and wondering if people would still be interested given we're coming into spring and summer? Shall I share soon even though the weather's getting warmer?
@@aboderie Absolutely! Us wool fanatics flip these sweaters year-round LOL. No but in all honesty, lots of wool sweaters are very thin and perfectly suited to hot days.
I'm afraid it's very difficult to get a 3 year old to reliably model a garment (as you can probably tell by the shaky shot at the end of the video!), and I am increasingly nervous about sharing my children on here as it's permanent and I don't know who's watching. I do share more pictures of my makes on my children on my Instagram stories so if you'd like to follow there you'll find more fit pictures.
Your voice is SO soothing. I'm sticking around for a bedtime story.😁
Ahh thank you!! 🥰
I closed my eyes a few times! 😆 100% agree!

Thank you!!! I love it. 💕
Yay! ❤️
Thank you for the lovely idea but I don't understand what I'm supposed to do with the collar. Do I just leave it as is ?
Yay!! Thanks for sharing!!
You're so welcome!! ☺
How did you finish the seam at the bottom with the lemon piece?
Love this tutorial 😀
Just a double fold hem, so turn it up about half a cm then another cm, press and top stitch ☺️
Really great idea! But how did you finish the arms?
I did a mini hem but you could also try binding them
How did you do the collar? I’m confused on that
Do you sew it

Hi when you're making a pattern You need to use something different than a pencil Apartment marker and then everybody would be able to see it
Great feedback thank you!
Can you show the finished products modeled by you children
