  • This video discusses and demonstrates the use of one-way repeated measures analysis using IBM SPSS. I demonstrate both multivariate and univariate approaches to testing differences in a measure across levels of a repeated factor. You can obtain a copy of the Powerpoint here: drive.google.com/open?id=1aRg...
The dataset containing the BDI dataset (example 1) can be downloaded here: drive.google.com/open?id=15kO...
The dataset containing the reaction time data (example 2) can be downloaded here: drive.google.com/open?id=1kiT...

I have a question , so my design is a crossover design where the subject serves as their own control. I have a bio marker in the blood that I tested at 5 different time points for each subject. HOWEVER, where I get confused is that I had the subject consume the study agent in one part and the control in another. So in other words, for each time point, each participant has TWO values (one that corresponds with blood levels after study agent and one that corresponds with blood levels after control). How would I go about inputting this data?

Thanks for the awesome video. Just wondering about the between subjects output. How should this be interpreted versus the within subjects output. Or is between subjects irrelevant?

You are very welcome. To your question, yes, the between-subjects portion is pretty much irrelevant. I certainly have never had use for it. But I guess the SPSS folks wanted to give you a thorough output :) Cheers!

Thanks for your videos. In one of your presentations on repedted measures ANOVA using SPSS you wrote about a One-way ANOVA when you have two measures. I really want to use a one-way ANOVA and I only have two measures but I can't find anyone else who writes or talkes about this. I want to compare within- and between-subject factors (e.g. gender, age etc.) and I just can't find a solution. Thanks in advance!!

Hi there. I have a video on repeated measures ANOVA with one-within and one-between factor here: ua-cam.com/video/KZHHAuTj8GU/v-deo.html . I hope this is what you are looking for. Best wishes!
