Both beds seem to compare closely & favorably. The Tempur-Pedic although more expensive & off gas odours seems to be the better choice. The fact that both beds do not use foam is a ++ because foam defeats the whole purpose of the bed...adjustment of firmness. I find that changing positions on a soft mattress is tiresome & consumes your energy. The opposite is true for firmness...less tiring & restful. Thank you Nick Robinson for the valuable information & unbiased report.
Sleep number was the worst hammock I ever slept in. My tempure cloud supreme is sleeping in a hug. 10 years later I am sleeping on the same mattress and love it! I ordered one for my guest bedroom and am ordering the same mattress for my daughter and son in law. I have fibromyalgia and live in a lot of pain from a car accident 30 yrs ago. The mattress was a little firm at first but I feel blessed to have it every day. I have the med firm. My hubby would prefer the firm. Hes ret military. Meaning his body is beat up. 100% disability. We have split king. The bed isn’t hot and aired out quickly. Hope this helps someone. Oh, you should know, if you purchase the sleep number package that monitors your sleep info, that part of the package is nonrefundable. Be blessed! Thank you for this review! I used your reviews when I chose my mattress!
@@tarickaskani3396 I purchased the Tempur cloud supreme by Tempur-pedic. Several people have slept on the one I bought for my guest bedroom and they don’t wanna go home🤗
This is a very old review. Tempurpedic satisfaction is at 95% and sleeps cooler due to its new mattresses. Also Sleep number service claims on air compression failure is way up as are the bladder or air cell negative complaints.Tempurpedic all the way the better product.
+Diablo99V Even living in the Frozen Tundra of WI, I have to admit while I do find my memory foam bed very, very comfortable... However, due to one of my auto immune issues I get up often enough as it is during the night. But the issue with my mattress is that this thing does hold heat like an oven! And when you have 2 people sleeping on it, it's runs even hotter as the night goes on, then you wake up just drenched! I even keep my window cracked open with a fan on in my bedroom in the coldest of the winter time because of this... And now in the summer time I revert to sleeping on my sleeper sofa that I purchased on purpose (I was going to purchase this sectional that only had a chase lounge and huge ottoman to slide in for use as an extra sort of bed for guests only, but I didn't want my brand new furniture to get ruined due to me sleeping on it all summer long and even right now as we just had a heat wave of 72 degrees today! Which is really rare this time of year.) So I just ordered the sleeper sofa that didn't have the bars or the inner spring mattress in it, it has a different type of foam that actually breathes and I can turn it about as if flipping a regular mattress as said in the instructions. It's all Amish made, all of the coverings of the entire sofa either zip off of the all of the cushions, and the ENTIRE rest of the sofa exterior is well made of a soft but very sturdy fabric that as well can be ALL removed and put right in washing machine as well to keep just as clean as the day you bought it! To bad this was not something that came in a type of sectional like set with the chase lounge that I really wanted, but when it comes to any Amish made furniture you sure do get what you pay for! This will most likely be the very last sofa I will ever have to buy. Right now it's a light beige with off white piping as I do try to stay with earth tones that just don't go out of style, and I use throw pillows that a throw in my color scheme of what right now is ocean blues that really brightens up those earth tones like the ocean blue against a sandy beach. But it looks what i'll need now is a cooling foam for my bed now! Their almost as expensive as the the matresses themselves if you want the right one that will actually keep you cool and work the the way it's suppose to.
I was talking with a tempur pedic rep and he's suggesting I aim to get a contour elite because it helps re-align your body...I'm a little skeptical. I have lower back pain, and the flex was the most comfortable to me. Is this true? Does the other traditional mattresses provide better back alignment support long term than the Flex? Thanks for your video!
Regarding long term expense, did you take into account that Sleep Number pro-rates according to age, on the replacement costs for any parts? My mid range P5 bed has a 25 year warranty as well.
I have s temperpidic king ajustable base I love it but if you have a sleep partner lol get a split king because we all have our preferences other then that love it it cools me I sleep like a baby
Both mattresses have pros and cons; both sleep hot and can be both comfortable and uncomfortable. I am still looking for the right mattress for my adjustable bed frame.
qteezy6501 Providing multiple zones isn't just a gimmick. Most of everyone's weight occurs in the center third of the mattress. Since the Sleep Number bed only has one individual bladder this tends to make people hammock in their bed forcing their spine out of alignment and causing a curvature as they rest. It's very similar to laying on a hammock. In contrast by providing multiple zones on the Choice model for Tempur-Pedic they can actually help you maintain proper postural support and alignment by allowing an independent setting for the center third of the mattress. This also provides much more customization within the product itself. Sleep Number beds have 20 different settings versus the Tempur-Pedic's 100.
Thank angel! After doing my own research I have to agree. I actually owned a comfortaire mattress for about a month and ur right about the hammock feel. It was killing my back. I'm actually thinking about getting a cloud lux breeze now.
Had a sleep number for 5 years now. The bed is still FLAWLESS and insanely comfortable after putting it through every sexual torture test known to man. Multiple sexual partners at once, vigorous nightly masturbation, and sex games involving food. Clean up is incredible as well. Highly recommend!
After 19 years on Sleep Number bed it is still like new and provides a great nights sleep!
Wow your the first in awhile
We’ve had both - I’m ready to back to a regular mattress & box spring.
Why is that? What did you not like about them?

If you make an audible book for sure I going to buy it. So calming. Good review 👍🏼 thank you
He could have a successful ASMR channel for sure!

May I know which mattress you bought? I am looking for a mattress for my back pain. I have a curvy back and I don't like soft mattress.

Memory foam feels horrible in my opinion. The heat issue is a big one living in the south.

It's a limited warranty, read it carefully

Very informative and balanced point of view!
Both mattresses have pros and cons; both sleep hot and can be both comfortable and uncomfortable. I am still looking for the right mattress for my adjustable bed frame.
I have a Sleep Number Queen size SAGGER. The middle sags and I wish I had a single chamber as the duall chamber is a gimmick and allows for sagging
Hey nick what are they advantages of the multiple zones in the choice model? Or is it a gimmick? TIA

Very interesting comparison, thanks for sharing!
Wow, his voice is so soothing :)
Correction: He's the most boring man ever to walk on the face of planet Earth.
Temperpetic vs Purple?
YES! I'd love to see that comparison.
Your movie reviews on the Onion are funnier
Love my sleep number

Goodness Joe. We do appreciate the review on the Bed BUT we really DID NOT NEED TO KNOW that much about your sex life.
