- Hey y'all! Welcome to the farm! Today, I'm doing a little clean up from some of the storms we've had come through recently. As we near the end of summer, we've let the gardens go and will be getting ready for fall planting. Come along and meet some of the farm animals.

Hi Miki 👋🏻. I have been so busy I am behind my shows. The pigs are cute, but is the cage too small for them? I have no idea about farm animals and what they need. But your animals are so sweet! A real testimony of you and Bill ❤
Hey there! 👋 We always look for you and miss when we don't see you. But understandably, it is a busy time of year trying to finish out the summer harvest and getting ready for the winter months. The pigs are in a temporary pen right now so we can utilize them to root up and clean out all of the grass and weeds in the garden area. We will be moving them around throughout the gardens and they will go into a bigger pen once they've completed that task. I am learning so much about this lifestyle and enjoying it more and more every day. These animals keep me busy and bring us so much laughter and joy. We are truly blessed! Miki & Bill...I hope your both doing well today. I didn't plant tomatoes or peppers this year but I was able to get what I needed from another local farmer. I wound up canning 12 pints of hot peppers, 12 pints of salsa, and almost 60 quarts of stewed tomatoes and pasta sauce. This coming week I plan on putting up about 30 pints of ground beef. This should fill back up my shelves for another year. Can't wait until fall cabbage comes in as I will make up about 50#'s of kraut.
It is nice to be able to support our local farmers! You've been very busy! I have really enjoyed learning to can and preserve. It's nice to know where your food comes from. We're hoping to do more as we gain more knowledge and fine tuning those skills. You don't have to go very far to the grocery store when you can have it right in your home. I would love to learn to can meat - that's one I haven't tried yet, but hopefully over the fall months be able to put that to the test. We are looking forward to our fall season here with all of the healthy greens. I bet your kraut is amazing! Yum! Thank you so much for watching! God bless!

They sure do make a lot of money to get it wrong most of the time. We do welcome the rain after such a dry summer. Hopefully our fall season will fare better for us. However, we can't complain too much - we still received a good bit of harvest this year even after fighting with the weather. We hope these new additions will be of benefit to us. Love all the animals. I wish we would have planted more fruit trees years ago, We did and the deer ate them all. we planted some 2 years ago and only a cherry, apple and peach tree survived. we will be dead by the time they mature enough to produce anything but a snack. You garden looks great compared to ours. We are waiting for the temps to cool down to clean up. Enjoy your videos so much. God Bless
Thank you! We are trying to expand the orchard and hopefully keep the deer from eating it all before it matures. It's hard to get a good orchard going since it takes so much time for the trees to get to a fruit bearing stage. We appreciate all of your support! We enjoy yours as well. Our weeds in the garden here at Oathers legacy farm looked like that, I wish we could sell them, we would be rich lol😂
I think a lot of us had a weed issue this year. If you find out a way to market and sell them, let me know - we can all share in the wealth 😂

He did do a pretty good job! The chickens love the new coop, or shall I say, their 5-star coop 😂 It was a good way to use an old chandelier that no longer works - just give it to the chickens for something to roost on.
