I'm not an 1hr video watcher. But since it was B.M Hegde, I was convinced that it would be worth it. And I was right. This man bought tears to my eyes. This man will leave a legacy behind. I'm simply spellbound. Thankyou Dr for this. Thankyou for all the good you have done to mankind. We shall forever be grateful to you.

Yes, scriptures were there , but people were dying so early. Now, thanks to modern medicine people are living in their 70's and 80's. Simply don't fall into this ill advise.

i being one with relevant experience in medical field can assure that Dr. Hegde's comments on stents and the costing are spot on. None of the points made by him is a figment of imagination as some of the comments would want us to believe. He may have a dramatic way of driving the point across. For me what he speaks is Gospel truth. A scientific one at that.

sir, This generation of India is so lucky to see and listen to you. Those who met you personally are very fortunate equally as all others who are watching your videos and listening to your speeches.
Those in milching industry wont like the down to earth assessment by Dr.Hegde.And whatever he says has an insight which the persons devoid of find him and call him whatever name they want to call.
After going through the speech of Dr.B.M.Hegde Sir's, what ever is 100% true bcoz when i took my mother to a reputed Doctor in Hyderabad and in reputed Hospital few years ago with a cardiac problem, all the the reports were normal last not but the least when a Junior Doctor took her for echo test at that time, he confused us and said you can take your mother but its upto you. As there was pressure from other side of family members, i had go stent operation after which she is having some problem or other. The said GOOD DOCTOR was arrested for the said STENTS ONLY.

His refreshing candor and clear articulation make each lecture of his a treat to watch and reflect upon. Not many of us in India understand the compulsions of growth and the lengths to which the multi-trillion pharma industry will go to protect its margins - misdirection, misinformation, statistics fudging and normalcy window dilation (make narrower the range of vitals for normal health; e.g., specify blood pressure range as 90-130 instead of 80-140, which brings in another 500 million people into the hypertension fold!), unnecessary medical and surgical procedures. That in the USA alone they have paid collectively more than 50 billion dollars as fines over the last few years shows the extent of their misdemeanors. Imagine what is happening in India where regulations hardly exist or are implemented or governed. There are unconfirmed reports that the "reputed" drug developers in India are fronting for the Transnational majors and actually carry out unlicensed and illegal human trials across the hinterlands of India.
This form of medicine, like much else from Europe, has only served to blind us to the possibilities of developing an economy and a health system that is simple yet effective, available to all and non exploitative. Will we ever as a people realize the potential we have to rediscover a better way to health for most of our people? Likely not, being ashamed of our own past as a people and sold out as we are to everything that comes from Euro-America.

I used to listen Sam Harries but Hedge sir is more knowledgeable, I haven’t heard or seen more knowledgeable person than Dr Hedge.
