He learned out of nowhere to beat Piccolo in the 23rd budokai, but yeah, he never used it to travel to longer distances (maybe not mastered yet and burn a lot of KI) so he still used nimbus in early Z

No you're right. Even for particularily strong Ki attacks like Chiaotzu's Super Dodon Blast or Tien's Tri-beam, the only effects applied were in the BG and for enhancing the feeling of "This attack looks really scary"
Seeing Yajirobe fighting makes me realize how wasted he was in the actual series. He could have been this wandering ronin that shows up once in a while to aid the main cast in their battles. Instead he became the lazy, fat comedy relief.

graphics and physics look awesome apart from character model deaigns, everything else looks boring. I'll pass this time. Why is it whenever a new game comes out we all act like it's nothing we've seen before and then wait some time and that new game becomes et again an old game until a new one comes out and we act again like we've never seen anything like it. Goku kid never had a undershirt, its so st*pid... also its st*pid not giving him another outfit without the power pole, so weird seeing him use the power pole in the tournament because its not realistic. Btw you do kind of have the 23rd budokai Goku ingame, its Early Goku with his 1st outfit which has meteor combos, kamehameha etc.... no spirit bomb or kaioken..

Auras started appearing in the 23rd tenkiechi but it was more watered down and mostly just used to show how powerful they were.
