You can improve with getting to know them well plus the info from this video, I remember my first artwork with watercolor pencils was not like this at all 🙈
I'm not sure if you are still learning or not but this looks quite muddy, i noticed you making odd decisions (using black in the shadows for 1 example) Not always a bad decision but unless you glaze over it with another colour it looks very flat and muddy, even more so with watercolour. This isn't hate! I think you did great.
Thank you. Frankly I always learn and experiment, I try lots of things otherwise I might be bored. My goal is that I'm satisfied with the final looks and have fun and it doesnt matter how I get there. I know black can be risky so I could have used something else but here it looked fine to me overall. And yes watercolor pencils is a recent medium for me despite practicing a lot with it lately,.I hope to uncover a lot more!
