Omg, I can't believe this really worked! Thank you so much for all your videos! I came across your channel maybe 3 weeks ago and was fascinated but somehow wasn't sure if this would really work. 😁 I watched (almost) all your videos and the ones where you describe how to prepare the rods even a couple of times. So today I finally tried it and I did everything exactly as you showed us. I only made 15 rods and made a braided heart shaped thingy you can hang on the wall (I saw this on Pinterest and thought it would be good for a quick trial run). The rods were soft and easy to braid and form, I intentionelly colored them a little bit unevenly to make them look more natural and the heart looks exactly like rattan, nobody would ever think that this is paper! This is absolutely amazing! I love rattan and I need quite a few boxes and baskets in certain sizes (it's impossible to find them in those sizes in stores) and now I just can make them myself! Once again: Thank you so so much for sharing your knowledge with us and I wish you all the best! ❤
Absolutely! You can do it as many time as needed. Also, if you have moisturized the paper rods but haven't used them (e.g. if you need to finish weaving your basket the following day), put the moisturized paper rods (wrapped up in plastic) into the freezer. You can keep them in the freezer for up to 2 months. Take them out of the freezer, whenever you need them, let them defrost for about 20 minutes and they will be ready to be used again, without any need to moisturize them again.
Why do the tips need to be dry? Isn’t the 3 cm of the tip trimmed off, instead of being used for connections? 0:47 “I use a piece of plastic bag from the cat food.” Just for fun, please consider having your cat make cameo appearances in future videos.

Thank you very much for sharing the infordation
Thank you ❤️
Halo, thankyou for the tutorial. Can we re-moisturizer paper rods that already moisturizer and become dry again?

@@miraclewicker thankyou for your answers❤
Hello
Could you let us know the brand of paper you use?
Hi. I use newspapers and flyers but you can also use the newsprint paper

Not always. When you insert the moisturized weavers into the weave to make a border, you don't trim.that much off.
@@miraclewicker Ah, I haven’t progressed to rims yet. Thank you!
