- Flying over Green Beach, Sabaudia. The Ulysses Riviera of Rome. Sabaudia beach is a popular elite resort town of 18.000 people near Rome, located on two coasts: Paola lake and the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is part of the Riviera di Ulisse between Rome and Naples. The beach is located in Circeo Park (8.5 thousand ha), where eucalyptus and pine trees grow. It has clean healing air and a mild Mediterranean climate. They created Sabaudia on the orders of Mussolini in less than a year. They spent 200 days on the construction in 1934. This is a unique harmonious cozy resort, which is visited by travelers from all over the world and local residents.
Beach description
The coastline of Sabaudia is 30 km. There are sandy beaches, azure water. High golden dunes on the coast. Sabaudia annually receives the UNESCO "Blue Flag", a Honorary Award for being clean, safe and having a high-level infrastructure.
The bottom is flat, sandy, the slide is smooth, comfortable descent and shallow depth are optimal conditions for the relaxation for the smallest tourists. The water warms up well, gusts of wind rarely occur, and the waves restrain breakwaters.
Sabaudia is a coast that includes many beaches. The most popular of them are:
Lido Azzurro Sabaudia. The coastline is long, not crowded, lawn chairs are installed close to each other. Sometimes waves arise due to the wind and the special relief of the bottom. The beach offers scenic views of Circeo Mountain.
La Bufalara Beach. The territory is adjacent to the park area of Circeo. The beach is not crowded -this is the area for secluded relaxation. The infrastructure is well developed. Often there are big waves that attract surfers. There is a cafe where food can be brought to the lawn chair.
Duna 31.5. A long beach with golden sand for families. Many families with preschool and primary school age have a rest here. A casino is operating on the territory.
Getting to the beach from Rome city center is easy done by train, rented a car, transfer, taxi or bus. 2 - 5 euros will be enough to get to Sabaudia by public transport. The distance is about 90 kilometers. Walking distance from the hotel to the beach, everything is within walking distance.

Epic beaches, epic photography !!!
Looks like very little has changed during the nearly 30 years since I was there which is nice.
I agree. In a time that embraces changes no matter what the cost, such lasting beautiful places are very precious. 💙
That is quite beautiful. My OCD likes how they are all lined up perfectly.
I could say you're perfect I'm not but love all you guys let's just get along
Do like the drone videos. Thank you both...
No matter where we go, enjoy your life 👍
Wow... wanna go there now...
Well done Roman. Steady as you go. Thanks.
So nice! Thanks! Roman and Nina, looks like you are having a very nice holiday.
Damn, no wonder my niece, her husband and family bought an apartment in Rome. TY for the video, friend. My niece never boasts, totally humble so I recieve a few snap shots but no videos. And I love them with all my heart. They both have an open invitation to work for the Smithsonian in Italy whenever they're ready but they're just not ready. Lol
Awesome.
What a superb video. I could talk to my niece. When they're in Rome, they may agree to entertain you with sight seeing and a bedroom. Just a thought.
Hi Roman and Nina, have you taken the volcano keys with you to Italy, the engine is not running again - we need you back to get it started. Hope you had a wonderful trip to the eternal city.
Fantastic drone video. Wish I was there lol Have a great holiday & enjoy the warm sea, gorgeous beaches, and yummy food. Blessings from UK
Thanks

Holy cow, Roman, you took your drone with you all of the way to Rome? Great view of a gorgeous area. Thank you!
Of course Roman had to visit the Romans. How could he not?
@@gustavmeyrink_2.0 LOL...very true.
Roman Roaming in Rome
SHARK!…….just testing. 😂
I hope you are having a great time. Im shocked there are not hotels all over that beach. How far from Rome? Couldnt see the city around there
90 km
Rome has an extension of almost 1290 square kilometers. It is the 3rd European capital by extension. 😊
There are hundreds of hotels nearby...the thing is that the coastline area is protected and is a nature reserve
How amazing to have a country protect its coastline from the dreaded developers. Thanks for sharing Roman. I miss your volcano undated though.... 😂
Beautiful coast, dreaming and missing Italy and the see 🇮🇹🏝.
Have a very very good time! 👋🇨🇭➡️🇮🇸❤
Does one pay to be on the beach? Is it open to the public?
Open
Roman, although we know your intentions are good, it's such a shame that no-one can even spend a day at the beach without being filmed by a stranger, for who knows what purposes. Long gone are our days of privacy.
Not too many beaches there but in Germany it is illegal to film people (as long as they are recognizable) without their knowledge and agreement due to their very strict privacy laws.
@@gustavmeyrink_2.0 I don't want to come across as forbidding someone for using a drone, but I do believe that there should be a limit. It seems that no-one can escape being filmed nowadays and who knows for what purposes. I live in Australia and there has been numerous circumstances of creeps filming up the skirts of females and taking photos of them using public restrooms. It's bad enough with Google Earth filming our vehicles outside of our homes. They block out the Registration plates on the vehicles but not the faces of people walking down the street. I can only wonder how long it will be until we have no rights to our own privacy at all.
