In 2009, I had to live alone for the first time in a different land, sort of far from home. I remember walking in to the week day services and hearing your encouraging messages. I was so far from God but I enjoyed your messages. I know you also encouraged me to trust God for my academics, especially thanking God after each paper. I did that throughout in uni. Thank God You came back 😊 You were really called to the students. Thank you for sharing
God in His mercies uses disappointment from those we rely on to bring us back to His plans and purpose for our life. when we look on men, God will use the same men to hurt us in other to redirect our focus on Him and Him alone.
Many thanks for sharing Sir, the take home is the God factor Sir.. You knew God for yourself… Ps 16:11a You will show me the path of life… Knowing God for oneself is the best… You called unto Him and He answered and showed you great and mighty things you didn’t know… Jere 33:3
The error I see here is that the Pastor did not allow you to Pastor your church possibly because of the convenience of your services to him. Even as a staff of the mission they should have allowed you time to do your work. He allowed you to pla t the church to meet the target required but did not offer you the support needed. That was wrong. Thank God He made a way for you and relieved you of the dependence on the mission salary
Because most people go into Ministry without been called by God, and Even if, they must have something to do, everyone that Jesus called in the Bible was busy doing something. May we not miss our goals in His Kingdom, and may we not miss heaven in Jesus' name 🙏
I commend you sir. However, you said you're still in RCCG but now as a national staff because you got another appointment as provincial staff in Akure after about 8 or 9 months of leaving the first one. The story didn't say whether you still pastor a parish or you left completely for your printing business.. In any case, I think the title of the video is misleading. I was expecting to hear your challenges and how God helped you to overcome them after you have completely left RCCG either as full time staff or as full time or part time pastor.
@taiwoojeyinka3950 Apologies, sir. You expected to watch the story of someone who left RCCG (you are wrong and you can't also be the one to determine my own story or the topic I choose) If you took your time to watch, you would see btw the lines of my stories. My story has nothing to do with leaving a church, and I stated my challenges, what I struggled with while working as a PA to a Senior Pastor, and how I overcame that struggle by resigning to focus on ministry which also led to starting a side business, yet I still found my way back into the system, SIMPLE! My title is "The DAY I RESIGNED, not the DAY I left RCCG. Be Blessed!
@iamtunjiadeboyejo Certainly sir. It's your story and your page, nobody can tell you how to do it. It's just that we rob minds together to enable readers understand and appreciate what you wrote even right from the title alone, and for the content to go in line with the title. I now understand your point better. My comment was made because the title did not connote that you got appointed back into the church. Maybe it would have been more clearer (at least to me) if it is "The day I resigned my appointment as a staff of RCCG Province xyz" instead of RCCG as a whole because you were still in the church system at the time. The story caught my attention because I, myself, am currently a pastor in RCCG. So, it's like learning from other people's experience. Stay blessed sir.
@taiwoojeyinka3950 Eyaa, if I had mentioned Province so and so, that's how someone else or even you would have said I shouldn't have mentioned the exact place it happened. I still feel you should stay in the context of my story. RCCG is a global organization, and it should be addressed as such, and the church is the same everywhere. More so, I am a global voice lol 😆 and I have been privileged to work with several provinces and regions in the mission. Also, my choice of title may not be clear to you, and sincerely, why should it be (why should I disclose the content of my message in my title?) Meanwhile, I am not sent to everyone, you know, the ones I am sent to have picked thier lessons and I am fine 🙂 with that. Take note: My story is to inspire, motivate, and encourage someone out there, no more, no less. It doesn't have to be you. Stay blessed!
Listen to his experience and the truth. There is no Church in heaven. Churches are mere labels and like any human organization, churches are entrenched in nepotism, tribalism, corruption, unrighteousness, lack of regard for truth and hero worshippers like you. Church gave remittance targets like banks. Know God. RCCG IS NOT IN HEAVEN.
@faladeemmanueloluwapamiler1276 Watch the video, learn the lessons in the story such as hearing from God, praying for directions, keeping your relationships no matter the issues, use challenges to navigate into new paths in life and move on to achieve success. As for clickbait, put that aside. Be blessed!
@timcrown6380I agree with you and it is so unfortunate that GOD's children who should know better are following suit. With the backlash of the church TODAY and RCCG in particular, you are putting out such a title and are comfortable with it? How about hundreds of thousands that will not watch the video and make an informed decision about it? You have succeeded in dissuading them and sort of, poisoning their minds with wrong info. From your video, you had your faults by not following GOD's instructions to the latter...Deut. 28:1, Saul was deposed as king for not obeying GOD fully, Moses did not get to the promised land because he STRUCK the ROCK TWICE when he should have spoken to it (Num. 20:12) The reason why they turned you down from being a full time Pastor was to prevent what happened eventually (borrowing from the church treasurer). If you must go full time, you MUST have something to fall back on but you planned depending on the salary from the church. All the same, thank GOD that He helped you and restored you but trust me, you walked in a very dangerous path through your journey and more importantly, by the caption of your video. It sounded like, yet again, what RCCG did to me that I resigned... The Lord will continue to guide and help us all. GOD's blessings always.
