That Spin the Wheel/Make the Deal thing with Jake was some pretty memorable marketing and I wasn’t even watching WCW in 92. Short, but I wouldn’t say forgettable.
The problem was that the match was not very good. The build up was very good and made you want to see it. Like a movie with a great trailer. Then you watch the movie and are let down.
I think he wrestled at a house show or in a dark match. Bleached blonde hair. They bought the rights to the Gorgeous George name for him but ended up using it for Macho's gf instead

The Neidhart one is funny because they put him in a tag team with the Junkyard Dog. Just the most Bill Watts move imaginable and it was one of the last things he did there lol

Not finished yet, but really feel the need to point out most fans probably know about Animal because he debuted during the match that Sid Vicious leg snapped into!!!!! Nobody knew what to do, so the bad guys just kept kicking Sid until someone actually dragged him away from the ropes and pinned him. It set up Ron Simmons' title win, it put supercool Sting in against the monster who tormented Warrior, Randy and Liz, it gave us the Spin The Wheel minimovie. Here in the UK where WhatCulture and myself come from. it was the top WCW storyline just after ITV moved WCW from the late night slot to British Wrestling's old Saturday afternoon slot, which was ITV's way of quietly and sheepishly uncancelling Wrestling.

He turned down the offer cause his wife was getting her teachers degree and he didn’t want to move her away from that and didn’t want to be away from her for that long. He would go on to work for the short lived WWA and ROH before signing with TNA. He was offered another WWE contract when his first TNA deal was up as was Abyss who WWE wanted to feud with Kane but that’s another story. AJ resigned with TNA out of loyalty. When TNA ruined their deal with AJ asking him to take a pay cut he felt betrayed and signed with NJPW before finally going to WWE.

Don’t forget the reason Jake was going to no show Wrestlemania. It wasn’t because he was being petty, it was because he had been promised a position as a writer, and they went back on their word by keeping the position vacant when one of the writers retired, I forgot who it was. But yeah, Jake I decidedly felt slighted, and that’s why he threatened to no show Wrestlemania unless he was let out of his contract.

No. Even though the video shows Madusa holding the women’s title, she never held the wcw title. For some reason they put the title on Akira Hokuto, who beat Madusa for the belt, and then she went back to Japan and then the title was vacated and forgotten about.
The information about Kamala's run is incorrect. Kamala wasn't in the Doomsday Cage match. That match didn't take place until WCW Uncensored 1996. Kamala was in the War Games match at Fall Brawl 1995.

Why would we have forgotten about Jake Roberts? Almost every wrestling UA-cam channel has had a show about Jake vs. Sting with Jake having to force his snake (thank God, not that one...yet) to bite him!
I actually went to a house show during that time that was supposed to be Sting and Jake. Since Jake was gone, we got Rick Rude as the sub.

Edge only had a short run with WCW because JR had already signed him to a contract seeing his potential, they had him working matches elsewhere to get him more experienced for when they finally had him on WWF TV
