During bandwidth estimation, Total egress was 1EB/day => 12TB/sec If I understand right, we are just dividing by 3600 to convert day into seconds right? In that case the calculation should be roughly equal to 250TB/sec Is there any additional sub-calculation considered here? Since the 2 values have a huge difference. Same Question goes for Total ingress = 2TB/day => 24MB/sec which should have been 500MB/sec

Hey Keerti ,kudos to the content ur creating , a query about this design , for the filtering service , you guys mentioned that there will be parallelism and separate chunks will be filtered and returned to kafka ,what if there is a problem in one of the chunk , will whole video be discarded and if yes how to revert all the chunks filtered earlier and passed on to further services.

I Dont get the point of calculating active users and calculating size, we make it scalable.. it will be automatically scaled . so whats the point? u gonna use cheaper components in the hypothetical situation ?

maam what is top down approach HLD -> LLD? and bottom up approach?
You can study both independently or parallelly. But in real systems, HLD is done first - then LLD for the code part…
