You definitely shouldn’t feel embarrassed by not making something you planned. I think we all have imaginations that run wild but hands that stay grounded in reality. I have a list of things I want to make and every so often, especially when I get close to the end of a project, I go back to it and reassess the order I want to make things. Maybe a gift or a need jumped in priority, or I realize I can wait on something else, or I find new inspiration, or a test deadlines changes my timelines. You’ll make it one day, one way or another. ❤
Agree with all these points and it was such a nice reminder! Our minds are busier than our hands but that doesn’t means it’s a bad thing, it just makes the process more fun 😊🙌🏼
Ahhh such a kind reminder! Like they say that knitting and buying yarn are separate hobbies…project dreaming and knitting are definitely also separate hobbies 😂
Oh how sweet of your BF, what a nice gift, as with all of petite Knits patterns they are so well written and easy to knit , never done this kind of shoulder but I ma liking the construction an of course all the stripes are fun as well, enjoy @@hipknithooray
This dress is so cute. I had a thought about how to keep it on your shoulders when worn with a blouse (such as the button up shown) to take a small button and sew it along the shoulder seam line outside of the blouse and make a loop (or two) on the dress' shoulder seam line to secure the dress from falling off the shoulder? Hard to explain 'out loud' but, it made sense in my head!
Thank you! I think I’m just overthinking as I usually do with everything - knitting is such a creative process so I should consider it normal to have ufos…just have to change my mindset!

I’ve had the honey vest on my needles for a while! It’s been a challenge but I can’t wait to wear it!!!
I hope you finish it soon! I do wear mine quite a bit now that it’s done ☺️ but it was a bit of a slog to knit aha
Ooooomggggg that chestnut colour is STUNNING
Right!! It’s hard finding the perfect project for it because I want to do the colour justice haha
Oooh I'm so excited to see how the Lyon dress pans out! I also love the colors you picked out for the brioche vest, that's going to be super stunning.
Thank you! I really hope the vest works out it’s the letlopi - I’ll have to make my gauge swatch soon to find out

The Knit Picks Loft yarn is so pretty! 🧶 I really like the Komorebi Dress. 👗
Its my favourite mohair to work with and you can grab it at a great price during their sales! I only wish it came in more colors

I feel so similarly - I keep making knitting and other crafting plans but some favourite ideas just keep getting pushed for other things 😅
The knitting list is never ending! We’ll get to them one day…maybe haha
it’s perfectly fine if you have UFOs . I’ve seen other podcasters that show their UFOs and talk about the pattern construction.
