@@toohappytobehomesick I also agree with the lifestyle in Oman and neighboring countries, the West has become very 'Agenda' focused to the point where it has become toxic and innately corrupt.
I do agree with you. Anytime I come back to Italy I feel uncomfortable, people are often nervous and full of stress. I don’t think I could live in the west anymore
My dad worked between Italy and Saudia Arabia for almost 15 years...
He used to buy Italian silver jewelry from an Italian small city ( can't remember it's name) and sell it in Saudia...
My dad used to tell me about Italian people, how they are dedicated, humble yet professional and overall nice people...
In many ways, wish all countries live in peace, prosperity and freedom

Perfumes are all quite good in the Gulf countries and half the price we find in Europe. You should love string perfumes, though, with a note of oud.

Unfortunately my camera fell down on my last day in Najran and then I went to Riyadh to treat a small health problem I had while travelling. Tourists usually do not go to the port so it's not that visible like any more central restaurant

Prices are low in Oman because taxes are low compared to Europe i guess, it is only 5%.
Oman standard VAT rate is 5%, very low compared to Italy for example and residents pay zero taxes or up to 15% depending on the job.

I’ve been working in Oman since many years with a working visa and a sponsor (tourism sector). As an Italian speaking it was easy to find a job as a tour guide. It really depends on your skills and what type of job you are looking for

هذا المطعم يمني و اكل يمني لكن يلا عمان و اليمن واحد ما في فرق 😊اما غسيل السيارات هذا شغل حلو والله هنا في الاردن يمسح السيارة بشريطة ديزل تصير تلمع صح لكن كلها خدوش و اصلا هنا في الاردن اغلب الاحيان لا يستاذنك بل يطالب بالفاتورة بعد ما يكون مسحها و خلص 😅😅😅😅تحياتي لك و لاهل يمن و عمان

The Salalah Garden Mall is indeed very beautiful. There is still a kind of courtyard in the mall, with great cafés and restaurants .
I like that mall and yes, it’s nice to chill in one of those cafes ☺️
The city of Salalah is a beautiful city in general.
It really is, less chaotic than Muscat
But Muscat is also a beautiful city.The museums, gardens and parks are all beautiful. The district of Al Mouj is unique.Actually, the whole country is beautiful. For me, Oman is a lived story..

You’re right, there are many expats in Oman, quite half the population is not Omani, and many are Pakistani, Indians and from Bangladesh 😃

I have found whitening products all over Asia and the Middle East but as far as I know, they don’t work. I personally love dark skin tones!
