  • The pilot episode of TamingTheRR series is here!
Germany has some fantastic riding roads and this gem of a road was neatly hidden in the Vulkaneifel region which is mostly used by locals to get from one town to another and occasional bikers like us. Here is the route if anyone is curious goo.gl/maps/bL... and as you can see, the whole region has winding roads and you cant go wrong whichever direction you pick :)

Great place to ridea motorcycle, and the sound of your bike is nice to hear :-). Also the rails in the turns are friendly for bikers, that's great, you don't see that in Belgium

Dank je wel BTR! :) After all the experiments with zoom, mounting it on passenger foot peg has proven to give best results, something we can try on your new bike once you get it ;) Even I was surprised to see the rails as it is an unknown road in the middle of nowhere, just connecting two small towns :) but I am not sure how much it helps bikers as the rider would most likely fly over it in case of crash but yes, the bike wouldnt fall down into the forest. Still better than not having anything.

True, but it's better because if you slide over the ground...., the rails over here are like knives, very dangerous for us.
Oh and I have my new bike, come to my channel and check her out :-)

I do have to adjust gains in post processing but yes it is the best I have got till date. I thought you already had a good working setup didnt you?

I tried putting it on the footpeg but my bike is more noisy and has more vibration as well so it didn't turn out that well. Plus there was also a lot of tyre noise from my knobbies. I think I will go back to putting it on a side pocket of my rack bag. That seemed to be the best position as it was close to the exhaust. On your videos I like the combination of exhaust and the sound of the engine as well.

Side pocket of your rack bag seems like a good place indeed. On mine, there is some chain noise too :)
