- The pilot episode of TamingTheRR series is here!
Germany has some fantastic riding roads and this gem of a road was neatly hidden in the Vulkaneifel region which is mostly used by locals to get from one town to another and occasional bikers like us. Here is the route if anyone is curious goo.gl/maps/bL... and as you can see, the whole region has winding roads and you cant go wrong whichever direction you pick :)

Awesome road. Great vid! That dog face is hilarious too!
Thanks a lot man! I had seen others use that dog face in such situations and found it hilarious :) and apparently, it is called 'doge' :D
Great place to ridea motorcycle, and the sound of your bike is nice to hear :-). Also the rails in the turns are friendly for bikers, that's great, you don't see that in Belgium
Dank je wel BTR! :) After all the experiments with zoom, mounting it on passenger foot peg has proven to give best results, something we can try on your new bike once you get it ;) Even I was surprised to see the rails as it is an unknown road in the middle of nowhere, just connecting two small towns :) but I am not sure how much it helps bikers as the rider would most likely fly over it in case of crash but yes, the bike wouldnt fall down into the forest. Still better than not having anything.
True, but it's better because if you slide over the ground...., the rails over here are like knives, very dangerous for us.
Oh and I have my new bike, come to my channel and check her out :-)
I missed lots of videos over this weekend, I will check it out now :)
awesome bro expecting lot more to come 👌✌
Thanks man, more coming soon :)
Nice 😉 I enjoyed it 😉 I have been in Germany to for 3 day's 😀
Thanks man! Where did you ride in Germany? :) Hope you had fun too!
CodeNameABK in Sauerland, past week from 25 till 27 may. I will upload some videos to, when I have time 😂
Oh cool, that region seems to be the other side of Moselle.
yes indeed little bit further
nice! you have really perfected the zoom h1 placement and levels...I am still not getting optimum results... :-(
need some dedicated testing to get that right
I do have to adjust gains in post processing but yes it is the best I have got till date. I thought you already had a good working setup didnt you?
I tried putting it on the footpeg but my bike is more noisy and has more vibration as well so it didn't turn out that well. Plus there was also a lot of tyre noise from my knobbies. I think I will go back to putting it on a side pocket of my rack bag. That seemed to be the best position as it was close to the exhaust. On your videos I like the combination of exhaust and the sound of the engine as well.
Side pocket of your rack bag seems like a good place indeed. On mine, there is some chain noise too :)
man!! 4 minutes passed by too quickly
Thats what I felt while editing too.. man that town came up so quickly :)
Awesome dude! we need more of such pure exhaust note videos
Thanks a lot Ajay, I have lots of such videos from this ride coming soon :)
i have the 2012 model this is the same one right ? love german roads btw been plenty.
This is 2014 one but yea, it is same as 2012. Have fun on it man! German roads are the best :)
Judging by this I'm gonna have a lot of trouble keeping up with you when we meet 😂
Hehe, not at all :) In a group, I ride at whatever speed everyone is comfortable with :) Btw, we still need to plan it :P
CodeNameABK I know man :D its been hectic ... We'll talk this weekend if you have some time!
Yeah sure, but we can wait till you are fully recovered.
beautiful!!! ha ha...is the legal speed limit up to125??
Thanks man, and the speed limit in such one lane roads outside town/city is 100kmph.
awesome man!!
Thanks bhai!
Apparently I did not have as much fun watching this as you did riding.
But how do you how much fun I had? :P
