So i understand what everyone is saying regarding the RSR and heres my input! In a straight line, The Evo will beat the rsr everytime! now on races with hard cornering the RSR Definitely excels and handles alot better! but it still depends on the driver! the EVO gets really stiff when cornering but it does accelerate out of the corners pretty quickly. with that being said if an average racer in a RSR went up against an experienced EVO User who mastered the handling model, the Evo will win Every time! But lets not deny that the RSR is indeed BROKEN lmaoo. Thank you all for your input!
RSR is indeed broken! I've tried other engine swapped light cars, like MX-5, Lotus... I also tried EVO IX, M3 GTR, Nissan GT-R, R34, Impreza WRX STI... Other youtubers tried the Regera & FXX-K Evo... and they're all like 10 seconds slower on Apollo-10 track! 10 seconds is a lot! It's hard to beat a sloppy RSR even if you drive perfectly.
I won't deny the car is absolutely broken still 3 games in a row 5 years in a row believe me a lot of us in the competitive community are a little annoyed and frustrated about it but at the same time happy about it. With that being said the RSR is absolutely one of the easiest cars to learn how to drive and it's a car I recommend personally for grinding because it out does almost every other car AI Wise easiest handling and because of its cornering and nitrous power the RSR still has some of the most broken nitrous even though the Nitrous system has changed.

Just personally, I find that the RSR is the absolute undisputed king of day time for its unbeatable cornering and the lancer is the king of night time. The acceleration makes it so much better at dealing with cops because if they make you crash and make a full stop you get right back into the action as if nothing happened in like 2 seconds flat, not to mention it’s also a bit heavier so it hits harder. Day time I whip out the Porsche night time I whip out the evo
Facts lol only tested the rsr on drag which obviously the evo will beat it at! Solid video tho! If this was purely a drag racing game I’d say he’s right but that’s what makes the rsr so unmatched it’s ability to hit even the tightest corners and still maintain and accelerate out of those corners hitting higher speeds than most cars
Kahil9 Absolutely, but it should depend on your goals. I have no super cars in my garage, I can afford them and can definitely use them to my advantage for my races. My goal is to use cars that I personally love and enjoy irl to beat the whole game. I was most excited about getting the Evo9 when I got the game. I use it as my all-around car for everything in the game, including car meets and cruises, and the fact that this video shows its potential over the RSR, it makes me even more happier that it was my first dealership purchase since first starting the game.
it does matter since it's frustrating to loose in a 400+ car with perfect driving. The whole engine swap mechanic should work as an option to make weaker cars as strong as a Porsche. That's the idea at least. Right now, the multiplayer is broken and balancing needs to be fixed because you can't compete unless you choose one of the fastest cars

Awd vs rwd should always take the launch. So it makes sense the evo has it in the beginning and the rsr takes it in the end and also cornering is huge like you said so it just depends on the driver at this point, their pretty equal cars so it's nice to have a race with those two vehicles.

Okay so 2 years later, yes I know, I definitely agree with this statement. I’ve always found Forza a bit dull and not as thrilling as a game like NFS or any game comprised with police officers. I think the nightly thrill just adds a cherry on top with this game. Risking your money is so dangerous but so thrilling! I prefer NFS Heat more than Forza now and I finally know why! Cheers! 😁

I finally finished the build on my evo, i made a lil change to my tires and differentials so i can keep a clean drift while sustaining mid to top speed. I saw this vid and this helped with the build becuase i didnt know what engine to put with my evo at first so thanks for the help my guy!

You earned a new sub. Been buying all these Lamborghinis and $500,000 cars. kept getting beat by these little sedans LOL couldn't figure out which one it was I've tried the Evo I'm hooked, thank you.
Put a twin turbo on the rsr and it'll accelerate faster. Also downgrading from the 7 speed to the 6 speed picked up an acceleration point for mine. That said the evo makes sense off the line (AWD vs RWD) but man the RSR is still the ultimate racing machine in this game.
The dual turbo will always give you better accel over the big turbo. Plus the porsche is lighter so the power doesn’t have to be exactly equal to the evo but either way ima have to try this out 👀

If they bring back the Beck Kustom that will be a counter to the RSR, I used that in 2015 nfs and Payback and it had poor acceleration compared to most but out of corners that thing explodes its 60 to like 100+mph was unreal! And the handling on it was like a true Indy car!
The Enlightened One there was a glitch on 15 (not sure about payback) where if you run against the wall in the beck and let off, you’ll go like 300+ mph. the psychics that the car had was a weird one

The Enlightened One the beck was only good for mountain races. But even then the RSR and Beetle destroyed it. The Regera was only 1-2 seconds slower. Most tracks were high speed races anyways and the Beck is trash on high speed turns. It was just a very useless car.

It held its own in my opinion and I gave the rsr a good match every time I went up against one..as far as high speed in payback you could actully customize it so mine topped at about 232 which is decent, that damn bettle was broken! Before they nerf the beck in payback out the corners it was OP but not quite broken!

I have easily 150+ hours with the rsr from payback. I use the rsr in nfs heat and I can say the only cars that can keep up with me are other rsr. A very experienced racers using the rsr will beat a very experienced racer with the evo. There are about 4 other cars that will beat a rsr on a straight away, however what makes the rsr very very good is that fact that it can drive around corners without having to break where most cars would. The rsr excels in Cornering and that’s makes it the best. Side note- I REALLY hate using the rsr but I use it because it’s the best car and easy wins. I do use other cars when racing friends but when it comes to randoms I’ll use the rsr.
I was just thinking the other day about how the evo was a pretty fast car. Because my friend had it stock maxed out at lv like 18 and my car maxed out at lv 30(think I had the bmw z4 and it is slow and a waste of money tbh)was still slower than his evo from preorder. Guess the Mitsu is coming back

Honestly, the fastest car in heat is the one you're in love with. Lol, these sword fights are kinda ridiculous. Heat does have some sweet rides tho. I was surprised how much they put into the game ON LAUNCH.!
Always had heard the 440 3.5l v6 was the hands down best engine for the RSR Even though others may have higher stats the 3.5 v6 is just faster. Thoughts?

The Evo has an AWD, so naturally it has an advantage at launch and cornering. I remember finishing NFS Underground 2 in an Evo9. What I lost at straights to more powerful machines, I gained at corners.

I have a question which I can not find an answer to if anyone can help: What are the differences between the different engines you can swap? Reason I ask is many of the available swaps have the same potential HP, and in some cars the stock potential HP is as high as what any of the swaps can give - in which case what is the point of engine swapping in this instance? I guess my main question is - is the only point of swapping an engine to increase potential HP? Thanks in advance. It will be a while before I have the spare cash to start engine swapping to experiment, so wondering what others have discovered.

The 3.5l V6 produces more power for the RSR. Try testing out that against the EVO just to see if it makes a difference. It’s the 3rd to last and I believe it’s 141k
You should definitely see the 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗤𝟲𝟬𝗦' 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟳. I did not even finish installing all the 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲+ parts and yet the car is already at 𝟭𝟱𝟯𝟮 𝗛𝗣. I reach 255/260 MPH in about 10 seconds with the right tuning options and without using the nitrous and with 5 gears maximum. The car is just crazy and probably one of the fastest cars I can think of as of now. You should definitely try it out! Edit: The engine is swapped for a 𝟳𝟯𝟬 𝗛𝗣 𝟲.𝟱𝗟, 𝗩𝟭𝟮 ($ 𝟰𝟱𝟰,𝟱𝟬𝟬) For the 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 parts, everything is 𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗘+ parts. 𝗗𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗼 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 is installed. 𝟭 𝘅 𝟭𝟱𝗟𝗕 nitrous tank is installed for raw power. 𝟱 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗘𝗗 gearbox is installed for better acceleration. The bad part about that is that everyone in the session was there, no one was in the city, which made the game boring, no one wanted to leave the airfield.
RSR was my Beetle killer for drag racing in NFS payback. Hilarious to see the Beetles taunting others only to get destroyed by me. They soon went and swapped out their Beetle for some truck to ram my RSR.🤣😂

i got 6.9 power on rsr... and if you quick shift the rsr off the line to 3rd gear it gets goin a lot faster than you might think. I use the same engine and lower grade chassis & drivetrain.. 375 km/h I use super drag tires, on road pro suspension & rally super differential.... 7 speed.. what I think the evo shines at is heat races for ending up in dirt during police chases... rsr works just fine for me though.. gonna try the evo, tune it & see for myself anyway..

i'm using a 384 rating 180sx and it does better than 400+ regera and p1 gtrs on the oval track next to the garage. it's got the 4.0 v8

Seems like the rsr spins a lot of the line compared to the eco who grips right of rip! The rsr diffinitely has it on the top end tho.

Synewsho that glitch was in payback except it wasn’t when you ran into a wall, it was when you had a lot of wheel spin.

My top 2 rides are the RSR and EVO IX. Give the Focus and Subaru hatchbacks a look too. They’re super fun drives with lots of acceleration.
I have easily 150+ hours with the rsr from payback. I use the rsr in nfs heat and I can say the only cars that can keep up with me are other rsr. A very experienced racers using the rsr will beat a very experienced racer with the evo. There are about 4 other cars that will beat a rsr on a straight away, however what makes the rsr very very good is that fact that it can drive around corners without having to break where most cars would. The rsr excels in Cornering and that’s makes it the best.
Side note- I REALLY hate using the rsr but I use it because it’s the best car and easy wins. I do use other cars when racing friends but when it comes to randoms I’ll use the rsr.

The RSR overall is still better because to be honest there aren’t really any straight line races. Most of the races have at least 2 curves and turns

I was just thinking the other day about how the evo was a pretty fast car. Because my friend had it stock maxed out at lv like 18 and my car maxed out at lv 30(think I had the bmw z4 and it is slow and a waste of money tbh)was still slower than his evo from preorder. Guess the Mitsu is coming back

Honestly, the fastest car in heat is the one you're in love with. Lol, these sword fights are kinda ridiculous. Heat does have some sweet rides tho. I was surprised how much they put into the game ON LAUNCH.!
Always had heard the 440 3.5l v6 was the hands down best engine for the RSR Even though others may have higher stats the 3.5 v6 is just faster. Thoughts?

AWD Cars in general are a pretty good call in NFS Heat. They've all got mad acceleration!
I have been trying them out but the speed in the corners of the AWD cars doesn't compare to the rwd cars (when they are track tuned)
AWD cars don't really tend to do burnouts when accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h / 60 mph
Until you get a high powered offroad truck which ends up spinning its wheels in gears up to 3 or 4... It's kinda stupid really.

The Evo has an AWD, so naturally it has an advantage at launch and cornering. I remember finishing NFS Underground 2 in an Evo9. What I lost at straights to more powerful machines, I gained at corners.

What are the differences between the different engines you can swap? Reason I ask is many of the available swaps have the same potential HP, and in some cars the stock potential HP is as high as what any of the swaps can give - in which case what is the point of engine swapping in this instance? I guess my main question is - is the only point of swapping an engine to increase potential HP?

The 3.5l V6 produces more power for the RSR. Try testing out that against the EVO just to see if it makes a difference. It’s the 3rd to last and I believe it’s 141k

You should definitely see the 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗤𝟲𝟬𝗦' 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟳. I did not even finish installing all the 𝗨𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲+ parts and yet the car is already at 𝟭𝟱𝟯𝟮 𝗛𝗣. I reach 255/260 MPH in about 10 seconds with the right tuning options and without using the nitrous and with 5 gears maximum. The car is just crazy and probably one of the fastest cars I can think of as of now. You should definitely try it out!

They have the small track in the infield of the oval and a dirt track but that's it. An airstrip would be cool too.
The airfield was ass in payback it wasn’t even long enough to have proper drags
The bad part about that is that everyone in the session was there, no one was in the city, which made the game boring, no one wanted to leave the airfield.
For real , i like the map but it lacks a drag strip. ☠
RSR was my Beetle killer for drag racing in NFS payback. Hilarious to see the Beetles taunting others only to get destroyed by me. They soon went and swapped out their Beetle for some truck to ram my RSR.🤣😂

i got 6.9 power on rsr... and if you quick shift the rsr off the line to 3rd gear it gets goin a lot faster than you might think. I use the same engine and lower grade chassis & drivetrain..

what I think the evo shines at is heat races for ending up in dirt during police chases... rsr works just fine for me though.. gonna try the evo, tune it & see for myself anyway..

Reminds me of NFS Underground Mitsubishi Lancer ES. That was my second choose. My first choose was the Nissan Skyline. Those two cars I drove the best. From game to game that's how I always played. Love the EVO!
