Appreciate this video. It is worth mentioning the significance of the DSPIAE ones being unbending, as in gunpla/gundam modelling it allows you to create or enhance hard edges with a fully flat sanding surface, where a sanding sponge or sheet would cause a hard edge to lose definition and become smoothed out or even a curve, which might sometimes be what you are going for. Before products like these people would take perspex rods, double sided tape and sanding paper to make a tool of a similar function. These are actually better as they are purpose made and not too expensive either.
Is there any reason why one could not stick a different grit to either side of the DSPIAE sanding boards? Thus, instead of buying 10 boards for the 10 different grit sizes, 5 boards would do.
I thought these things would have the grit etched into the metal itself like a glorified nail file or something. Its just piece of metal with some sand paper stuck onto it! But then looking at the start you like to ride the gimmick train a lot so...
Dspiae are a total waste of modeling money. Your buying the name and the hipe of bragging to your modeling buddies you have them. I've been building over 50 years and it still comes down to It's not the tools that make a good model , it's the builder himself.
Well yes u are 100% correct it depends in the builder, but as the name "Tools" it makes the job a lot more efficient and faster and not time consuming im not saying dspiae brand/products do but definitely tools help especialy for builders who doesnt have a lot of time, good effort with less time is great result

Great product review, looks like some things I could use in my tool kit!
Thanks for watching. There are some great sanding products out there.

Thanks for the heads up. It would be easier to get them form the UK than China. Thanks for watching.

Bernie Sanders is abrasive too.

Its true that you can come up with the same exact result with or without using expensive or somewhat decent tools but its less tine consuming
Unless your talking about their circle cutter, then....nothing cuts as well consistently. Hard to beat, even with my olfa.
