    Why do police of Swaziland dress like the British officers

    • @npzwane9331
      @npzwane9331 3 роки тому +1

      Its history. Swaziland is a former British colony. The first police officers of Swaziland were British. Even the first Commissioners of police in Swaziland were British. Although not every part of the uniform is similar to that of the British the logical conclusion is that, the uniforms were left by the British hence the great British influence on the design, colour etc. Even the rank structure is largely pre independence design.
      That being said I think that the Swaziland police uniform is reputable and just marvellous and clearly distinguishable from non-state security agencies.

    Why do they praise in Zulu instead of being proud of siswati

    • @lukhelesibisi4061

      the deepest things in siSwati are said in Zulu, including Catholic prayers

      Nguni as a category of the languages sound the same thus when you understand isiZulu you’ll understand Xhosa and isiSwati. It’s not isiZulu it’s isiSwati. Listen careful to “Bayethe” bcz in isiZulu it’s “Bayede”

      Although we speak siswati thoe who stsrted going to school in the early years until the 70s there was no siswati language at in schools of Swaziland it was zulu even the bible was in zulu, and songs were in Zulu. The 1st praises of the king were written in zulu. Dispite speaking siswati when coming to writing it was zulu. But now because they stopped the zulu language and swapped to zulu and now even having a siswati bible. Swazi people still use zulu for gor most of their songs
