You got so unlucky. I was there a week before you. We did a Whale watching tour and saw nothing. So the positive was it turned into a tour of the Fjords so was ok . Apparently they leave at the end of Jan. We did a Northern Lights chase and saw nothing only to see them from the harbour the next night.You got a once in a generation storm. We are gonna go again before Christmas. Such a wonderful place.

I would love to go back before the end of the year and try again for the whales! We actually saw the lights on a tour that took us all the way to Finland the next night in a brief gap in the clouds! Then by some miracle even better the next day mid storm! Check out or next video that goes live tonight! At least we got a refund on the boat tour! We still had an amazing time it's the risk you take the forecast changed once everything was already booked!

haha fair. My voice is very monotone. We were a little grumpy as everything we'd planned to do was canceled due to the weather. We managed to make the most of it during the series though.
