Nothing wrong with pondering our place in the universe, many people go through life oblivious to how wonderful it all really is. I've spent many hours (some might think wasted, I certainly do not) reading, watching and thinking about these things. It's certainly made me value free time over much else.
Those sky pictures are incredible!
Those stars look stunning. 😊
Wise words, Dan. It feels incredibly liberating to look up to the stars.
Well done for discovering the fundamental fact of life that every thing within your timeframe is insignificant so enjoy what you do and the beauty that you are surrounded by, be it miniscule or massive, enjoy it. Life is fleeting and the vast majority of people will be so focused on making money that the government will take away or a false impression of power that others crave or to create a legacy that time will erase, those people will never see the wonders around them.
Keep doing what your doing if your enjoying, you do have amazing pics of the night sky and great shot in the day time. You have some good pics of the Border lands keep it up mate
Sounds to me like you are living your dream! Keep living it and keep enjoying it. 😊😊😊
Better looking up at the stars than down at your phone. Sounds like a life well lived.
In the desert I'm treated to the Milky Way from horizon to horizon. Mind you, I can't explore too much due to the frighteningly large packs of coyotes, not to mention the mountain lion on the nearby ridge, but the depths of the night sky are vast enough to make up for it. I do wish I had a telescope, though.
🤔
Wow! There is not one part of that message I don’t like… apart from maybe the coyotes!
Your old age! No way. Wait until you are in your 80s, 90s or older before you use that phrase. In my 70s I realise that I am not old. Just a wee bit less young. The stars, they are old. I always enjoy and am charmed by the poetry of your videos. Nga Mihi - Greetings -from the islands beneath the Southern Cross.
