Sounding lush Michael! The Plate and Hall reverbs are the best thing in this pedal. Those algorithms reminded me of the depth of the reverbs in the tc electronic M3000 rack unit. It's also cool that Wampler is offer a VST plugin with the pedal for free! Did your clean tone in this video come from the Friedman IR-J?! Your clean tone is lovely here Michael and has some very Vox AC30TB-ish vibes. Hysteria meets The Joshua Tree meets The Cardigans! That little moment there where you quoted "Communication" from The Cardigans made me smile. I love that song. If you were using the IR-J, it's incredible how much you made it sound like a VOX AC30TB at the edge of breakup. Peter Svensson from The Cardigans only ever used one amplifier and it was the Vox AC30TBX. For the recordings of their albums sometimes he went directly into the Neve console and direct to ProTools with a fuzz pedal between his guitar combined with the Neve preamp and EQ in the desk, or else he went direct through the Neve and then reamped the track through POD Farm on the Vox AC30TB model. I cannot wait for Dave Friedman to put out a Vox AC30TBX IR pedal. He's going to make a killing on that one from the praise & worship crowd, especially if it does stereo. Great demos Michael. Thank you!
as usual, stellar playing and tones. this looks to be a good match for me as i have the terraform and the wampler doctor. retire the doctor and get reverb for my Friedman IR-D
Thank you! You know what, I barely needed to turn any of the knobs. I used tap tempo on a delay, but I don't even think I changed the blend knob. The presets are just dialed in that way. Stock pedal presets. Each new one I went to I thought, "Dang, this is nice, I'll just use this!"
If you have a delay sound set and go into reverb and turn all the knobs, what happens when you go back to delay? Does it save your old settings? Not remembering what I had setup might be the only drawback here.
Hopefully these drop in the used market like the Terraform did. You can easily get one for $200 or less in the used market. Maybe this will be more popular and it won’t happen. I wish Brian luck but we’ll see how the market reacts. I think it sounds killer, honestly.
People go McDonald’s and Burger King, yet they sell the same type of product. It’s about the character of what each pedal provides. No, this sounds nothing like a Strymon pedal. Get it together. Such a weird take.
Well, I don't think Strymon even offers a dual Delay and Reverb pedal. Sure, you can buy 2 pedals. The Strymon pedals would require 2 power ports at (at least) twice the mA. Can you get this kind of sound if you have a Timeline, and a BigSky. Sure. But The Catacombs can do great things in 1 pedal, low power consumption, with MIDI and presets, at the price of 1 Strymon pedal. I like Strymon too FYI, but I don't think they really offer anything that does THIS specifically.
What a fantastic intro song 💯🤘🏻
Интро ваще заебись
Gear aside... first and foremost time and time again you make some fantastic sounds and have a great ear to match the chops.
Sounding great as always sir! :-)
Great that it doesn't use a lot of power. And nice that there is the Parallel and series thing! Nice guitar too, especially in the middle position!

Killer pedal for the money... Great work as always Michael.
I watched Brian’s demo and thought this pedal sounded amazing and after watching yours, confirmation assured. Sounds amazing! Cheers!
Ah yes my man ! Tell me this is stellar for Delay/Reverb.
Love that crunch section Michael, sweet playing
@@jonasgreene1882 thanks Jonas!

That intro song ❤….so nice
Awesome tune !! Reminds me of smashing pumpkins

how do you get different divisions?
I dig it
Gear envy as usual
love the opening track!
Love that intro tune!
Excellent track!
Who you calling a Lush? Oh wait. Amazing intro!
Instant Like!!
You’re playing and tones have been dead on lately. Great work!
Hey Michael, thank you so much for always keeping us up on great gear. Question: can you provide the settings for those presets? they are perfect

@ thanks for the response
Yea this pedal is the sh*t I have watched several videos on this pedal it is fn amazing 🤟🏻
Can I find the song in the intro somewhere separately? It sounds great!
Can I tap dotted 1/8ths?
Yes

This has a lot better price than strymon. As a bedroom player I can appreciate that
What as the signal path? How did you get this stereo?
He's going stereo out of the pedal into two inputs on his Audio interface
Isn't this a copy of the source audio collider Rev/delay pedal?
Very similar. Sounds arent quite the same though.
@KJ4VGA Is there any difference in actual sound quality? Maybe a shootout would be interesting as they practically identical..!
What does this do that the Strymons don't already do?
You're right and this applies equally to all other pedals, no matter which

@@Eric-nn9xf "get it together"? Wow... Sorry I hurt your feelings by asking a simple question. 🤣🤣🤣

Dotted 1/8ths tap?
Brian ALWAYS makes good stuff
