And then do the DLC because unlike Elden Ring, if you end the final boss then the game launches you into NG+ without even asking. Also bruh you need to chill a bit and you'll do much better, there was a shortcut by the bloody Snow White that would've saved you the whole runback. And lastly, start by heading to Hemwick first and get the Rune Tool

It goes straight into new game plus if you beat the final boss or accept his offer (accepting just ends the game there) so do that last and make sure to find 2 more umbilical cords and use all 3 before refusing his offer Also for light lore explanation the chalice dungeons are an old kingdom that was destroyed in some way from trying to ascend to godhood like a group that cane before it who are basically like the outer gods in elden ring and the main groups of the game did basically the same thing. The scholars believed that adding more eyes to their brains would give them higher thought and the church thought that by experimenting with the blood of dead and left behind great ones (exp. Rom). The blood lead to the beasts and the eyes lead to the multi eyed enemies (insight is based on the eyes and if you had enough earlier in the game you wouldve seen the giant monsters on the buildings and enemies would sometimes get new abilities)
Once you submit your life to him or refuse and fight you are instantly teleported into ng+ thats harder in every way, Finish the dlc first first. By the way if you want to find another secret boss after refusing gherman make sure you got all the cords.
I just finished this game today and went right through to the final ending. I found it challenging but nowhere near impossible, however I found it quite irritating and repetitive to play. I appreciate it is a great game and has a great story, just I find some areas a quite boring slog. It's the only Soulsborne game I have played and I won't be playing another. The best thing is the combat which is really quite exciting and rewards aggressive play. The bosses are pretty cool too, as is the whole atmosphere. If they brought out a story driven/RPG version I would be down to play it, but as it is I just feel I did it and that's enough for me thanks!

I loved today's video! Micolash is my least favorite boss. If you're looking for some optional bosses, try aiming for Darkbeast Paarl, Martyr Logarius, and the Witches of Hemwick. Bolt Paper works well against most enemies, but Fire Paper is particularly effective against beasts. Also, to achieve the true ending, you need to find and use three umbilical cords.

And you can only do dlc after vicar amelia meaning you would have to fight father cascoigne and her again. So id say do optional, then dlc, then the final battle with gehrman, (there is a secret "true" ending if u find 3 one thirds of imbilical cords and eat them, u can fight the true final boss after gehrman) there is 4 cords but u only need to eat/use 3. Look up guide on how to find them. Cant wait for next vid good luck 😭

pro tip you can switch between 2 weapons, This is important because there are weapons that can do more damage than the saw clever but they are not as fast, you can get those weapons by collecting hunter badges my advice is to search for all of the badge locations because it would be a lot easier. ( and by the way in the main game there are 3 optional bosses you haven't fought yet)
i think the reason why you can see the wet nurse when it went dark is because you had more Insight i forgot what Insight does since its been a long time since i last played but if i remember Insight lets you see things more than what the human eye can see I might be wrong but hey another day another screaming session from you dude hahahaha Edit: i realised as soon as i saw the burning house almost at the end of the video all i can say is Goodluck

Then you come to a boss and realize that you are underleveled, but instead of going and, well, play the game, you decide to cheat with this dungeon? Weak man, that's weak.
The saw cleaver is only good against beasts. Stop using that basic ass weapon. R1,R1,L1 is good for certain situations, but it's not really that good of a spam. Stay on them and just spam R1.
Nah he’s not really missing anything from optional bosses or by doing the chalice da optional ones are kinda boring fr and nun special but I do enjoy the prison fight wit the electric beast that’s fun but like the only one worth it in my opinion the castle one is ok but to do all that traveling and running for a boss not needed is boring aswell
