I know Josh is all about American cheese but I'm not American so I like my silky cheese to have some actual good cheeses in it lol (which is why I make it myself) also allergies
@@Eudevie those cheeses don't exist where I live so I have no idea what it tastes like but spicy mac and cheese does sound pretty nice. I really like to use aged or smoked cheeses, some are aged in port wine and it's pretty great with beef. Smoked is extremely good with pork.

Think about how much food it is for a dollar, I’m not sure but I worked their and they probably lost money on some dollar menu items tbh. As a former Taco Bell employee, and mayor of Taco Baco town in Animal Crossing, I can say that they've already removed everything I loved about Taco Bell. This has brought some hope into the world. Thank you Josh.
The literal definition of a filler item along with a "bigger" thing. Worried that 1 of something isn't enough, but 2 of that same item is too much? The grillers fought that so well.
Just get the shedded mini quesadilla with chunk chicken instead of shredded and add sour cream. It’s actually cheaper than the chicken grilled was, plus you add cheese to it.
Yeah there's a disturbing lack of grilled items on their menu now. Just the crunchwrap and the quesadillas, I think (and the current grilled cheese burrito but that's a temp item). As much as Josh jokes that they can't possibly get rid of the crunchwrap, it's also the only item on the menu that uses a 12" tortilla anymore. The grilled stuffed burrito used to share that tortilla size, but it's gone now, too. Though from what I remember the last time I worked at Taco Bell, crunchwraps are still pretty popular. Also I was 100% expecting the Cheesy Gordita Crunch to get axed. It's one of my favorite items, but it's pretty pricey these days.
i was moving into my apt at law school in august when i wanted to go to taco bell one last time for the loaded potato grillers and it was the day after they had discontinued these menu items. Luckily the guys said they had enough left to make me 3 BUT they'd have to charge me under some other code and I was very excited. I may have gotten the last loaded potatoe grillers!!!

i used to always get a potato griller with my food. the grillers were the only reason i started going to taco bell. i really like their new double layer crunchy taco with the cheese between the tortilla and the crunchy shell with beans, but i don't know if i can go there for only that. such a shame.
Thanks for breaking the news to me that they discontinued the 7 layer burrito... Last year they discontinued the double decker... those were the only things I ate there. I'll never get to revisit that childhood nostalgia again.

Which is annoying because it's already difficult to eat out at fast food unless you want your meal to be potato and salad. Their official statement does say that they will be continuing to expand their plant based menu....so maybe? At least the black bean quesarito wasn't discontinued yet.
With the demise of the potato soft taco, and the rise of now knowing how to make it myself. I am free from the yoke of Taco Bell for good! As a former Taco Bell employee, and mayor of Taco Baco town in Animal Crossing, I can say that they've already removed everything I loved about Taco Bell. This has brought some hope into the world. Thank you Josh.

Just get the shedded mini quesadilla with chunk chicken instead of shredded and add sour cream. It’s actually cheaper than the chicken grilled was, plus you add cheese to it.

Yeah there's a disturbing lack of grilled items on their menu now. Just the crunchwrap and the quesadillas, I think (and the current grilled cheese burrito but that's a temp item).
As much as Josh jokes that they can't possibly get rid of the crunchwrap, it's also the only item on the menu that uses a 12" tortilla anymore. The grilled stuffed burrito used to share that tortilla size, but it's gone now, too. Though from what I remember the last time I worked at Taco Bell, crunchwraps are still pretty popular.
Also I was 100% expecting the Cheesy Gordita Crunch to get axed. It's one of my favorite items, but it's pretty pricey these days.

i was moving into my apt at law school in august when i wanted to go to taco bell one last time for the loaded potato grillers and it was the day after they had discontinued these menu items. Luckily the guys said they had enough left to make me 3 BUT they'd have to charge me under some other code and I was very excited. I may have gotten the last loaded potatoe grillers!!!
The triple layer nachos and fiesta potatoes were two things I got literally EVERY SINGLE time I went to Taco Bell. Now that they are removed from the menu, I will no longer be going to Taco Bell at all.
Same. For me it was potato soft tacos, potato loaded grillers, and nachos. Like man, way to take away my entire reason to eat at your restaurant

i used to always get a potato griller with my food. the grillers were the only reason i started going to taco bell. i really like their new double layer crunchy taco with the cheese between the tortilla and the crunchy shell with beans, but i don't know if i can go there for only that. such a shame.

Thanks for breaking the news to me that they discontinued the 7 layer burrito... Last year they discontinued the double decker... those were the only things I ate there. I'll never get to revisit that childhood nostalgia again.
Also, the reason they're discontinuing items is in preparation for the food shortages that habe happening across the world, potatoes and soda are on that list.

Which is annoying because it's already difficult to eat out at fast food unless you want your meal to be potato and salad. Their official statement does say that they will be continuing to expand their plant based menu....so maybe?

I've never had taco bell before as it's not in my country, but I made these for the first time tonight and it honestly blew my mind. I like sat in silence for a good minute thinking about how good it was.
