Huge Kdub fan. This is the best supercross race of all time (IMO), Kdub passed Carmichael, McGrath, Lusk, Button, LaRocco, and Tortelli. He was patient, methodical, and displayed a point in time where he was the best. This is a great example of our sport we can recognize and appreciate. Dude may have not won any titles, but he was simply the best to throw a leg over a bike on this night with no excuses from his competition. Kevin was special. So ridiculus that he didn't win a SX/MX title on the professional national level. Spent some time with Kevin in Pontiac. Good dude. Kevin can hang his head high as an elite talent now and then. I saw him at the 2018 NXDN. Time marches on but old racers never die.

Love the videos. If you could get your hands on washougal ‘97. That was the first national I went to when I was little, I remember bits and pieces it would be cool to see again. Thank you for the throwbacks 🤙🏼
Id say this was right as the last golden age was dying out. Seeing some of these greats struggle was hard to watch.
Miss the days when you could instantly look at a bike and tell what it was just from the color and not covered in sponsor stickers.

Man these early tracks I didn't realize how horrible they were they just didn't have any kind of a flow they really seem to go against the rider so to speak I guess never really could get a good Rhythm it seemed
Its just this track. Its a miracle no one was seriously hurt that night.
Well it’s challenging the riders, not supposed to be easy. Tracks today are like cookie cutter amateur tracks compared to what this was
