Thanks for demonstrating the no till method. I want to do the samething to my yard. What a difference small changes here and there can make to the landscape. It's ever evolving.🌲🌼🌱🍃🌺
Wow, Grayson, your back and shoulders must have been screaming at you! I cannot believe you got so much hard work done in one day. It looks absolutely fantastic! So awesome that you were able to put your wood chips to such great use! You're going to have a beautiful showplace when you finish! I'm dying to know what your plans are to replant it!! 👏👏
Wow I'm amazed at your energy. Oh to be young again. It looks outstanding. I can't wait to see what you plant. You could cut those holly bushes low and just keep them cut low.❤
Hey Grayson, that is an interesting method for a garden creation. I think a Weeping Norway Spruce or Weeping White Pine would be a good anchor plant in the bed
Oh my gosh! Are we the same person? I just posted a video of a flower bed that I completed yesterday using the cardboard/sheet mulch/no dig method! Tis the season, I reckon! Also, we cut down two Bradford pear trees last spring. Kudos to like minded gardeners!💚
I just tried the no dig method this year too. I would get rid of the crepe myrtles and the 2 hollys in front of the gararge. They are making that side of the house the focal point. the left side of the house is beautiful with the window and white arches, which needs to be brought forward. Definitely a focal tree, plus anchor trees, like under the 2 windows. The shrubs along the walkway to the right could cut back, or replaced with boxwoods. Just some suggestions, hope that gives you some ideas.
Yeah take out Grayson!! Plant something 💐 🌹 🌸 🏵 🌼 Flowers Get Ideas from UA-camr JANEY FROM DIG PLANT WATER REPEAT OR MY RUSTIC Garden Or Hooked and rooted Great Video glad to learn the no dig method 👌 👍
Oh your poor shoulders and back. Mine were hurting watching you. Hate to see the crepe myrtle go, another favorite of mine. I see that you have no windows on that corner, at the end of the house. Could you move the holly trees there rather than forfeit them?
Take the Hollie’s out. Their growth habits wasn’t taken into consideration when they were planted. If they don’t bring you joy, get something that does
Great job Grayson can't wait till you put something beautiful there and yes I would pull out the holly trees
Thanks for your comment Jean

Hard work with great results! I think it would open up that area and give a better view of your beautiful house.

How about that. Thanks for your comment
Everything looks great. I think you should take the holly trees and get something that wouldn't hide the windows.
Thank you.
A weeping Atlas ornamental tree would be great
I love that idea. Thank you Joyce

What zone are you in?

You need to get rid of all the plastic landscape cloth.
For sure
