Finger Coordination and Dexterity for Flute, No. 1

  • Exercises for beginner flutists, showing the right hand specifically. Please do this exercise with both hands as you are starting out. This is something you can practice anytime, anywhere, for developing finger movement and coordination/dexterity. Include moving your thumb for the left hand. Imagine your fingers are spider legs. Happy fluting!

    Wow I never heard of this practice technique when I was starting out with flute! I subscribed to your channel and I'll be binge watching your videos on some more flute tips 🙂 🎶 🎵

      Haha, I don't think you will find that technique anywhere by that name. I create videos based on things my students need to work on. When I made the video, a spider was the first thing that came to my mind, hence the name I gave it. 😂 You might also enjoy my "Practice Anywhere" video. Welcome to my channel!

    Thanks for sharing this! I’m working on finger flexibility and overall hand preparation for playing since I’m getting some strain and this is quite helpful!
