I remember when my brother bought this album. This was a song my mother loved! She used to sing along with it. Thank you for such a great memory and one of the best covers EVER. Great band
The stones wrote some good tunes, and if it's good tune, it always sounds good - see her Olympia WA cover, a song written by a punk band... ua-cam.com/video/dZ5hWXLpjxQ/v-deo.html&ab_channel=MollyTuttle
I grew up in the 60s and "She's A Rainbow" is my favourite Rolling Stones song. I never thought I'd ever like a cover version of this song, and I never thought I'd like a bluegrass version of anything... BUT THIS VERSION BLEW ME AWAY!
..and 'White Rabbit' is one of my all-time favourite songs ..this band has done the best cover version of that too! ..I've played in bands for many years, the musicianship and how tight and aware of each other they are is more than impressive! ..they are more than a huge breath of fresh air in the current manufactured, auto-tuned, quantized, stagnant and clinical state of todays mainstream trash forced upon us through the ad's money orientated media and radio stations!
Incredible. So perfect live. Normally, I like a little organic from live performances, but she’s just a perfectionist, it’s hard not to love. Way underrated
I am super impressed..if i may....former professional banjo player.... the tough thing about banjo in this environment... the instrument has no natural sustain to it.. often you have to add a lot more notes than you might want to keep it going or it just decays to nothing...that was some really nice playing without overkill and nice selection of chops.... Molly my hats off to you...
I just discovered this group a few months back. The did White Rabbit so well that I keep listening to that. I decided to stray from their genius version of White Rabbit and give another song a chance. Wow! There’s a lot of talent here. Love this song.❤
There have been some songs that were ALWAYS bluegrass compositions - perfect for this genre, and this is one of those. I wonder if Mick and Keith haven't sat back and said, "Yes - PERFECT!" The fiddle absolutely soars.
So many sounds... in one song. Love Banjo's ..... Love mandolins. That is one of the most unique and iconic Stones songs. The chords... are like a time machine in my brain. Thank You.> I Like the Stone'v version - but Molly Tuttle and the Golden Highway - take it up a good notch.
Molly Tuttle is without doubt as good as it gets. Bluegrass is in good hands with her and Golden highway out there. Certainly on my bucket list to see.
Never thought about this song being interpreted into bluegrass, but hot damn does it make a lot of sense. Great rendition of Mick Jagger being in love and writing a fantastic song about it.
Thank you so much Molly and the band, absolutely amazing and awesome too. You certainly cracked that song, and I really really love ❤️ your version of it. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤❤❤
I've loved this Stones song ever since it first came out, and really enjoyed your version too when it was released a couple of years ago. This performance is, simply, magnificent!
I just love this arrangement by Molly and Golden Highway. They take bluegrass to another level with this and White Rabbit. I'm turning bluegrass. And I'm a diehard blues guy. Great stuff! ❤
When I was about ten years younger than Molly Tuttle is now, I listened obsessively to the LP with the hexagonal cover, Through the Past, Darkly. I thought this was a cool song. I am happy that young people also appreciate that the Rolling Stones had some cool psychedelic songs. I hope Mick and Keith take notice. Actually, I hope Keith sends a handwritten card of appreciation.
you're my favorite female vocalist out there NOW, in any and all genres. And your band, all of them are great; you all compliment each other marvelously. Persevere you all and stay together! Your Album is pure joy to the ears of my heart!

This recording was at best a 3. The music was drowning out the lyrics. This is one of those songs were the lyrics are the focus and the music is simply background accompaniment. She either needs a better mic or a better sound mixer. Because her voice was too weak in this performance.
"Have you seen her all in gold? Like a queen in days of old She shoots her colours all around Like a sunset going down Have you seen a lady fairer?" Jagger/Richards
I would almost swear that I saw the standup bass player Live on Letterman with Justin Townes Earle years ago playing "Harlem River Blues". Great stuff Molly. You are amazing!
So glad to have heard the great Molly Tuttle at HSB on the Banjo stage in Golden State Park in early Oct 24. She didn't hear me shoutng for this one but she was brilliant anyway
actually you hit the nail on the head... I lived in France for years and I was amazed how many american women were actually prettier than many French women... but French women had a quality that made them much more attractive than the american women .... you mentioned charisma....... in France I used the word "charmante" or charming......... Molly is pretty however she has those extra qualities of charm, charisma, and naturalness. and of course she is a gifted artist.@@eastvandb
Unreal!! What a smokin' band!! Molly is a Goddess! That was one of the funnest, virtuosic, and almost trippy musical numbers I have heard in a long time!

That´s an interpretation of a song!!! You don´t need to change from man to woman. Beautiful!
It takes more than hair to make someone beautiful! Molly Tuttle you are beautiful in so many ways!
Nice to see Rolling Stones from their psychedelic era being covered. Always a favorite, good job

Great cover. I'm constantly fascinzted how music that was mde 50+ years ago still captivates people today.
Because it was really good
The 60’s and 70’s produced the best music ever
What a great take on a great tune!!! REALLY COOL!!!
what better way to give some new computer speakers a workout than to listen to molly and the band performing one of my favourite stones tracks!
tough song to cover, because the original is so GREAT, and iconic, but Molly and her Band do it proud!

What an amazing cover. If you aren't familiar with the original, look it up. You'll appreciate this version even more afterwards.
