Nice and quiet.
May consider for my auto detailing van and or home garage for winter in PHILADELPHIA thanks for posting.
Just like the heaters we use our greenhouses and in the chicken coop. They work very well.
Perfect timing. I just started looking around for a garage heater. My 2 car garage has a bedroom over it. As anyone who has a similar setup knows, that bedroom is the coldest in the house. I'm just north of Atlanta so we get some pretty cold temps at night. My plan is to insulate the garage door and add electric heat. I think I'm going with a 240 volt ceiling mounted heater because it's more efficient than the 120 volt. But this heater would be perfect for camping or working in an unheated area or anywhere some heat is needed. Thanks for posting and reviewing!
It performed well and was quite
Voltage from 120 or 240 does not affect an electric heaters efficiency or heat output.. Both heaters will cost you the same amount on your power bills. If your worried about efficiency get a heat pump.
@@bobbyk6761 Poor choice of words on my part. A 240 volt heater can output much more heat then a 120 volt heater which is what I'm looking for. I can fit 2 pickup trucks in my garage with room to spare. I want something that'll heat up quick. A 120 volt heater doesn't have enough umph.
@@Tom-In-Ga If anyone cares, The avg 240 volt heat strip uses about 20 amps, so 240x20=4800 watts, 4800x3.412 gives you the heat out put... of 16377btus. If we are using 120 volt, the strip it will 40 amps. 120x40=the same 4800 watts. 4800 wattsx3.412 gives will give off the same amount of heat at 16377btus. Youll be using the exact same amount of power per heat out put no matter what voltage you want to use. Hope this helps.
Add a space heater to bedroom
Not a bad little heater. Great job Gavin.
Thanks buddy
@@GeneratorReviews how many watts does it take to run?
Probably ok for warmer climates, that heater would not get my insulated garage above freezing on a cold night.
how are you doing with the ice storm???
How are you doing with the ice 🧊 storm ⛈️ that hit Texas??? Were you affected?
Just trying to stay positive and warm
Just can't see paying more than 20 bucks for 1500 watts.
20 bucks ? Can't get a hair dryer for that
