Is there a meaningful risk in an equipotential zone with diverted neutral currents due to a broken pen conductor. Both upstream or downstream? How best to avoid the currents circulating around pipe work and the incoming supply?

Thanks for the video, well explained. I have studied this as an adult learner and was never convinced that I fully understood the logic behind the 22 kΩ especially when I found..."a resistance to earth of less than 1667 Ω then sufficient current will flow (through the person to earth) to trip the RCD so they should be OK. - No need to bond. Max touch voltage should be less than 50 V, so with a 30 mA RCD 50/0.03 = 1667Ω. This led me to think that anything below 1667 Ω or above 22 KΩ doesn't need bonding - is that correct?

Hi GrumpyGrampa, Thanks for the comment.
Thats right, If you get readings between 1666Ω and 22KΩ then you have to put in
      supplementary / main bonding.

    Hi, great video,
Could you please explain what the Ib would be in that equatian when the installation being tested is of an older edition and protected by a bs3036 rewirable fuse as it's protective device.
    Thanks

There is outdoor low voltage installed within touch range to a metal fence installed in the ground. How do I ascertain if the fence needs to be bonded?

Hi, do you know much about shaver sockets / isolating transformers? I’m just trying to understand at college we've been told that voltage flows when there's a different potential as you say. But how do you not get a shock touching a live part from a shaver socket if you're other hand is touching a tap. But you would get a shock if you touch a live in a switch while you're stood on ground or touching a tap?

hankyou for the video, really good.
Do you disconnect all other earths from the MET when performing this test and just test from the main earth? Or keep everything connected?

Thanks for exelent vid, just a thought should we consider Cmin in the calculation in relation to the 230 volts for worse case scenario when calculating Rcp.

Thanks for the comment. I am working on a cmin - cmax video at the moment. Hope to have it up soon.
