    Excited to see how the build goes. Haven’t seen anyone put a dual exhaust on the 450L, would love to see how that works and what fab work you have to do to get it to work

    dude..I've been wanting to build a dual street legal honda for years!!!
    i have a 2020 crf250rx.... because if the dual exhaust only.
    can't wait to see your finished build so i can also build my own crf450l street legal dual exhaust monster

      Yewww, stoked for the support we are also excited to see how this bike gets down the road! They should have 60hp from the factory if we can make that happen this will be the first of many! Yet first we have to abuse it in the dunes to see if it will hold up to the abuse!

    It’s limited in 6th gear because of lawyers, honda don’t want to get sued by people who don’t know how to ride

      Fair enough yet riding a bike wide open then having no more power in a bad rut will cause more of an issue than keeping riders under 90mph if it even does that I will do a top speed test this week as it seemed to not hit 90 the other day 😂

    All companies engineer their shit to wear out as they figured out after WW2 that they had the ability to build pretty much anything and it could last 50 years. I have a refrigerator in my basement built in the 50s and it still works perfect today and it's never been touched. They created planned obsolescence because you can make a lot more money off a repeat customer than something you sell to someone once in their lifetime! Honda has always been very concerned with image and even more so after the 3 wheeler b.s. that happened back in the 80s! Honda would rather put out a product that is underpowered yet outlast's it's competition and avoid bad press by having product coming back for warranty work or have to hear people whine on social media that their shit broke. European companies do the opposite, they sell you a bike or a sports car with a lot of power but it lacks reliability, it's a pain in the ass to get worked on and it's expensive on purchase, parts and labor! I would love to see how titanium is cheaper than plastic!

      William always makes me crack up! Well I agree this is a bike that needs to last long trips like a trans American trail yet they already have a xr650l the crf450rl needs to be up with beta, Sherco and now the Stark or it will be a discontinued bike soon. I mean a drz400 has two less hp with one less gear a carb and 50 less cc’s… welp lets change that, will push it in the dunes and see how it holds up as the crf450r seems to handle the extra 25hp with less radiator and oil capacity with no major issues. Yet time will tell so here we go!
