I would trade anything to know how to make body types like that like thats awesome how cool your sketching at the start was
I used to struggle with different/unique body types, so I've recently started trying to incorporate more basic shapes like triangles and squares into my work, it really helps with character personality as well!

ArithiaBlueMoons Hey there! Are you referring to my character designs? First of all, if you’re talking about the over all designs of the characters, these are character designs I did for fun based off the original cast and costumes of the musical, most everyone that has made a speedpaint or animatic of Heathers does this, meaning there will be similarities in how they’re simplified which can’t be helped with so many artists making fanart. If you’re referring to the video and art itself, I can assure you this is my work and still I have the original files for the project. Second, the art style of Elemental FA is actually quite different from mine, and while there similarities in cartooning and content that doesn’t equate to art theft. If this work has been posted somewhere else, however, I’d really appreciate a link to the actual video or image so I can see who’s reposting my 2 year old artwork.

I studied musical theater in L.A. with students such as Paul Rudd and more - a theatre geek my whole life. I've seen EVERYTHING and have been in a tonne of shows. My 13 yr old daughter loves to draw and her other love? Musical theater, it started when I took her to see Les Miserables at 9. She was obsessed and learned the entire thing. Now...of course a HAMILTON obsession (aren't we all) but you know what? When she discovered this, Heathers, after viewing the film and then finding it on UA-cam...having just gone into high school herself and being very much a Veronica..and well, my name is Heather lol anyway...just need to declare somewhere that I didn't think I could possibly agree...but she told me she loves Heathers more than even Hamilton...and I gotta tell you...SO MUCH more depth than the film and the blocking, stage direction and MUSIC and lyrics...all of it, I cannot believe it's not still running. SO GOOD. I can't get most of the songs out of my head and again, my daughter knows the entire musical, every word. HEATHERS the Musical FANS FOR LIFE. Thanks for this homage!! Really great.

So months ago i found this video, throughly enjoyed the art and was intrigued by the song. I have never been one for musicals but this speedpaint introduced me heathers and then other musicals like be more chill, hamiliton, 21 chump street, and the book of mormon. I can not thank you enough for this introduction to these awsome plays. They have taken over my life
