Go behind the scenes with SPIN's November 2020 cover star, Machine Gun Kelly, who picked up a guitar to save rock and himself.
“I made Tickets to My Downfall on my own accord, for only for the love of music. At that time, I was completely written off. My agents weren't getting blown up, it wasn't like an exponential time for my career. I approached the album already kind of as a failure, which is what gave it such a genuine angst.”

Not really sure what this is about? I think it's not footage from the last 6 months. If that album cover it is surely not very recent footage. Whilst I love MGK I am not a fan of Megan. I just hope he is happy. I am really pleased about the success of the tour. Looking forward to the next tour footage. The whole band hopefully having a well earned break. ❤
He is so brilliant. He has been so revolutionary since his career, exceeding the limits on what someone has to be, say, or appear to be. He has changed music, brought life back into it, and has done it against all the odds. But still, despite the fame or money, his passion for music lives through the people who need it the most. It has been amazing to see him over these past few years become such a legend who's mark will live forever. That being said, he is also ahead of his time, always has been, and people are just barely able to grasp this mans capability. He is a beautiful soul, and we are all lucky to be able to witness any minute of it.

The guy just decided to be alternative cause being Emo is hip again. Has songwriters and even a drummer from the 2000s to sound exactly like that era. If you like it it's fine, but c'mon, the guy is not revolutionary. Just a pop artist that decided to be alternative now, and goes back to hiphop when this stops paying off. It's a nice 'spin' to say it was born out of angst, but this guy had enough money to promote and market it debuting in the top of the billboards. As a guitarist I think I'm able to grasp his capabilities. He's a good actor though

He looks burnt out.
It’s fact MGK has killed everything he has touched. I feel he has brought the emo scene back and popping now. All over you see the early 2000s rising again. Great artist overall. And person.
